About the property

Finca Caladan is a quite unique property in a peaceful country setting near to the town of Coin. It consists of a charming four bed roomed villa with a 2 bed roomed apartment attached.

The villa is fitted and furnished to a high standard which reflects the individual taste of it's owners. The living room has 2 comfortable settees, an open fireplace and a surround sound satellite TV with the full Sky package, in addition there is a DVD player and an air conditioning unit. An archway leads from here to the separate dining room.

The kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped with a hob and oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, a music centre and all the pots, pans, crockery and glassware that you could possibly need. There is a centre work deck. French windows lead from the kitchen to a pleasant little patio, ideal for taking your breakfast on, and there is a passageway from here leading to the separate apartment. There is also a toilet and shower room here and an automatic washing machine and tumble dryer.

The main villa has 4 bedrooms one of which has a large 2x2m double bed. This room also has air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom is fitted with an unusual fully tiled roman style bath plus a walk in shower cubicle. The other family bathroom has a jacuzzi. There are 3 other double bedrooms in which extra single beds can be supplied for children at no additional cost.

The apartment has 2 bedrooms one with a very unusual set of double bunk beds and one with twin beds. It also has it's own kichenette with a two ring hob, microwave and fridge. It's own shower and a double sofa bed, so it would in fact be possible to accommodate quite a few more than 12 guests. A cot and high chair can also be provided at no extra charge.

Outside there is a beautiful large patio planted out with palm trees and other tropical plants. It is fully enclosed and thus very private and has a built in BBQ. There is plenty of patio furniture and sunbeds to accommodate all guests. The pool is about 6x5m and has a deep end of around 5 foot and a shallow end between 2.5 and 3 foot, there is also a hot tub/jacuzzi. Leading off from here there is an outdoor bar. Steps take you down from the patio area to the land below where there is lots of space for the children to let off steam, there is also a pen with miniature goats and an aviary with parakeets and chinchillas. Steps also go up from the patio to a roof terrace which has the unusual feature of an observation room fitted with a a telescope.

There is a reduced rate for smaller parties or for out of season dates, please send an enquiry including details of how many there will be of you and the ages of any children.

All prices are fully inclusive of all gas, electricity, linen, towels and a welcome pack.

50% deposit secures with the balance due on arrival.

About Coin, Inland Andalucia

The village of Coin is situated far enough inland not to suffer from tourism in huge quantities, however it is easily accessible and is a great place to visit at any time of the year. Coin is roughly a 20-minute drive from Marbella and 30-minutes from Malaga airport.

Although popularity continues to grow over the years, Coin isn’t somewhere to stay if you want an action-packed holiday. Holidaymakers are attracted as it offers somewhere that is peaceful and pretty, has lots of ancient buildings to look, yet isn’t too far away from the livelier resorts. Coin has many citrus groves growing in the region, this is due to the very fertile land in which surrounds it.

Owner's Tips...

The lively market town of Coin is about 5 minutes away by car but even more conveniently there is a brand new shopping centre called La Trocha, within a couple of minutes and here you will be able to find everything you need.

The long sandy beaches of the Costa del Sol are about 30 minutes away and there of course you have an endless choice of shops, bars and restaurants. Finca Caladan is also ideally located for many excellent golf courses such as Alhaurin Golf and Lauro Golf.

In short this is an excellent villa which can either just accommodate a party of 6-8 or quite easily absorb upto 16 people.It is individually and stylishly furnished, has plenty of outdoor space and is a holiday home of quite unique charm

About us

My name is Ruth Polak and I live with my family near to the village of Casares in the mountains of Andalucia. We bought a run down Finca of 30,000 sq m. of land in 1992 and my husband, being a builder, renovated and built the house up.

I began renting an apartment on our Finca and our house in the village of Casares about 6 years ago and since then I have taken on other peoples villas and apartments to rent for them.

I thoroughly enjoy helping people to organize their holidays and using my knowledge of the area to help them to get the most out of their holiday on the Costa del Sol. I also work closely with my owners to ensure that their properties offer holiday makers good quality accommodation at reasonable prices.

I hand pick all of the properties I represent to ensure that they offer good quality and value for money and hope that you have a very enjoyable holiday on the Costa del Sol.
