Villa Albanile is a magnificent 5 bedroomed air conditioned holiday home of outstanding quality set in it´s own private grounds with a large private, heating swimming pool. The views all around are panoramic and the peace and tranquillity absolutely wonderful.
The villa was designed by it's architect owner and has a strong Moroccan influence with it´s brick pillars and arches. An enormous double set of 17th century doors open into a large entrance lobby which in turn leads into the wonderful large reception room, 20m x 12m. This room boasts brick pillars, a large open fireplace, a fountain and is furnished with many lovely antiques and artifacts, including a large refectory table with Windsor dining chairs and a Steinway Baby Grand piano.
Large doors on either side of the fireplace open out onto a very spacious patio, part of which is covered, thus making al fresco dining a pleasure even in the heat of the Mediterranean sun, and steps lead on from there down to the pool with its own large sun terrace. Apart from the main patio between the house and the pool there are other delightful seating areas, some in the shade and some in the sun, set out in the beautiful grounds and of course there is also a BBQ area.
The five bedrooms, of which 3 are double and two twin, are all en-suite. They are very comfortably furnished with ample built in wardrobe space and each one is fitted with it´s own solid fuel fireplace. Four of the bathrooms have fully tiled walk in showers with power showers and the fifth has a full bath.
Extra beds can be added if required so that the villa can accommodate up to 14 guests at no additional cost.
As one would expect the kitchen and adjoining utility room are both very well equipped. The former is designed in an attractive country farmhouse style and is fitted with an oven and hob, two fridge freezers, a dishwasher, microwave oven and of course a good selection of glassware, crockery and cooking utensils etc. In short everything that you would expect in a house of this calibre. The automatic washing machine and the tumble drier are located in the utility room.
The beautiful large swimming pool, 20m x 5m has the marvellous advantage of an electrically operated extendable cover. This makes swimming in the winter a pleasure as it maintains the water temperature at around 28 degrees. The pool house also has a solid fuel fireplace and a shower. In the winter you can enter the pool directly from the warmth of the pool house and bathe in the comfort of the warm water. As far as I am aware this is the only pool of it's type in the area and certainly adds another dimension to a winter holiday in Andalucia. In fact I can´t think of a better place to spend a family Christmas.( Due to the low winter prices a surcharge of 150.00 euros per week is made to cover pool heating costs.)

Price includes gas, electricity, linen, towels, bathrobes, weekly maid service and basic household goods.
Up to the end of October the pool can be heated for an additional 175€ euros per week, payable on arrival, if required.Other periods by negotiation.
Likewise central heating can be supplied during the winter months for a surcharge of 200€ euros per week and/or firewood can be purchased at cost.
Use of the telephone and firewood, if required, is covered by paying a 100€ euros deposit on arrival and the balance is then refunded on departure.
Due to the expensive antiques and artefacts a refundable deposit against damages etc of 500€ is payable on arrival and returned on departure.

This charming village off the coast resides on the side of a steep rocky hill in the heart of the Andalucian countryside. Yet it’s ideal location means that the coastline and all it has to offer is only approximately 30 minutes drive away.
The village is full of traditional style buildings and there are lots of sights to take in, including the old convent, castle and the ancient church of San Sebastian. Walking around you can also see some magnificent views across to North Africa. The national park of Alcornocales is located at the edge of the village, which offers great walks in the open countryside.
The traditional Andalucian white village of Gaucin is about 10 minutes away and here you will find a good selection of bars and restaurants plus basic village shops. The surrounding unspoilt countryside is a bird watchers, hikers and botanists delight. The spring wild flowers are wonderful, the variety of birdlife astounding and you are free to roam and explore for miles upon miles. Ronda and Jerez are both historic towns of interest which are within easy reach. The former is famous for having the oldest bull ring in Spain and the latter for it´s Bodegas where you can sample the locally produced sherry.
If by some strange chance you tire of all the peace, beauty and tranquillity which surrounds you at Villa Albanile then the Costa del Sol is just about half an hour away. Here you can enjoy the wonderful clean beaches and the diverse selection of bars, restaurants, shops and golf courses for which the area is reknown.
Horse riding, guided walks, yoga, massage, cooking and WiFi internet can all be provided as required.

My name is Ruth Polak and I live with my family near to the village of Casares in the mountains of Andalucia. We bought a run down Finca of 30,000 sq m. of land in 1992 and my husband, being a builder, renovated and built the house up.
I began renting an apartment on our Finca and our house in the village of Casares about 6 years ago and since then I have taken on other peoples villas and apartments to rent for them.
I thoroughly enjoy helping people to organize their holidays and using my knowledge of the area to help them to get the most out of their holiday on the Costa del Sol. I also work closely with my owners to ensure that their properties offer holiday makers good quality accommodation at reasonable prices.
