Casa Mirador is an immaculate 3 bedroomed house situated on the edge of the charming white village of Gaucin with quite breathtaking views over the Sierra Crestellina and beyond to the Mediterranean with Gibraltar and Africa in the distance. It is a spacious and airy house which is only four years old but has been built with plenty of Spanish rustic charm, having beamed ceilings throughout,an open fire place and terracota floors.
The three storey house is entered through a lobby, where there is a separate wc. From there you enter the comfortable light and airy living/dining room which has large sliding windows letting you take in the magnificant views. There is a very well equipped open-plan kitchen on this floor boasting a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, hob and oven along with an excellent selection of crockery, glassware and cookware. From the living room there is an archway leading to a verandah where there is a teak dining suite which will allow you to enjoy al fresco dining whilst taking in the most stunning views.
At Casa Mirador you will find a comprehensive pack of information about things to do and places of interest to visit thoughtfully provided by the owners. In addition there is a good selection of books and board games. A combined video and TV along with a radio/CD player are to be found in the living room.
The first flight of stairs lead down to two bedrooms, one double and one twin. Both of which are very comfortably furnished. There is also a luxury full bathroom (the automatic washing machine is here). The second flight of stairs lead to the third bedroom, which again is twin, this has an en-suite shower room. All of the bedrooms have plenty of storage space. A passageway takes you to the private patio where you will find ample patio furniture to enable you to enjoy the wonderful Spanish outdoor life.
Below this is the very well maintained swimming pool with another large patio ideal for soaking up the Mediterranean sun. There is an alcove here where you can siesta in the shade and an outdoor shower has been installed for your convenience. This area is shared with two other properties, both English owned.
In conclusion Casa Mirador is a quality holiday home which perfectly combines character and charm with modern day comfort and convenience. All the furnishings and fittings are of a very high standard and are sure to satisfy even the most discerning holiday maker. One further advantage of this property is the central heating, double glazing and open fire (for which the wood is provided ) thus making it a perfect autumn/ winter retreat as well as a delightful summer holiday home.

This charming village off the coast resides on the side of a steep rocky hill in the heart of the Andalucian countryside. Yet it’s ideal location means that the coastline and all it has to offer is only approximately 30 minutes drive away.
The village is full of traditional style buildings and there are lots of sights to take in, including the old convent, castle and the ancient church of San Sebastian. Walking around you can also see some magnificent views across to North Africa. The national park of Alcornocales is located at the edge of the village, which offers great walks in the open countryside.
Gaucin and its environs.Gaucin is a charming example of an Andalucian Pueblo Blanco which is still steeped in tradition.The people are friendly and there are a good selection of bars and restaurants.The village has a good nightlife with something for all age groups.
The surrounding countryside is a bird watchers paradise with the Sierra Crestellina being a stronghold of the Griffon Vulture.The spring and early summer wild flowers are truly delightful.
Gaucin is also a good base from which to explore this beautiful part of Andalucia with historic towns such as Ronda and Jerez as well as many other charming white villages just a drive away.
Costa del Sol. If you want a complete change of pace then the Costa del Sol, with its clean sandy beaches, shops, bars, restaurants and nightlife is about 30 minutes away.
