About Casa Annica

Casa Annica is an absolutely charming country retreat set in a wooded valley deep in the heart of the Andalucian countryside, yet just 30 minutes from Malaga airport. There is a lake in the valley bottom and a river flows by just 50 metres from the villa. The property itself benefits from about 3.5 acres of grounds and from the swimming pool terrace you look out over competely unspoilt countryside with not another house in sight.

The main house consists of two bedrooms, one double with en-suite bathroom and one twin. There is an additional shower and toilet. The large airy living/ dining room has patio doors leading out onto a covered terrace which is a wondeful spot for al fresco dining looking out as it does over the swimming pool and fabulous scenary with peace and solitude all around.

The kitchen is well fitted with a full cooker, fridge /freezer, microwave and automatic washing machine. It too has patio doors leading out onto the terrace. The property has the benefit of gas central heating which makes Casa Annica an ideal winter holiday home. Satellite TV is available in the main villa with all the free to view channels, there is also a DVD player.

Outside just a few steps away is a twin bedded annexe with an en-suite shower and toilet. This has been thoughtfully designed for wheelchair access with wide doors and ramps, the shower/toilet too is wheelchair friendly so making it ideal for both able bodied and disabled guests.

The immediate gardens surrounding Casa Annica are neat and well maintained as too is the swimming pool. Plenty of oudoor furniture is provided as well as a BBQ.

About Coin, Inland Andalucia

The village of Coin is situated far enough inland not to suffer from tourism in huge quantities, however it is easily accessible and is a great place to visit at any time of the year. Coin is roughly a 20-minute drive from Marbella and 30-minutes from Malaga airport.

Although popularity continues to grow over the years, Coin isn’t somewhere to stay if you want an action-packed holiday. Holidaymakers are attracted as it offers somewhere that is peaceful and pretty, has lots of ancient buildings to look, yet isn’t too far away from the livelier resorts. Coin has many citrus groves growing in the region, this is due to the very fertile land in which surrounds it.

Owner's Tips

Coin and Alhaurin.The lively Spanish towns of Coin and Alhaurin are about 10 minutes away by car and here you will find a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants.Going further inland there are many places of interest to visit such as the historic town of Ronda, many Andalucian Pueblos Blancos and much wonderful unspoilt countryside.

Costa del Sol.The long, clean,sandy beaches, bars, restaurants and nightlife of the Costa del Sol are within a 20 minute drive whilst the International Resort of Marbella is about 30 minutes away. There are plenty of different attractions and much to do on the costa but please refer to the Costa del Sol page for more information on places to go and things to see during your holiday in the area.

Golf.The excellent Alhaurin Golf Course is about 10 minutes away, Lauro golf approximately 20 and all together there are a total of 5 first class golf courses within half an hours drive. If you don't want to bring your own clubs there is even a set in the villa for you to use!

Other nearby activities include pony trekking and mountain biking all of which can be arranged by your hosts who live nearby and, should you require it, are full of useful information regarding the various attractions in the area.

About us
My name is Ruth Polak and I live with my family near to the village of Casares in the mountains of Andalucia. We bought a run down Finca of 30,000 sq m. of land in 1992 and my husband, being a builder, renovated and built the house up.

I began renting an apartment on our Finca and our house in the village of Casares about 6 years ago and since then I have taken on other peoples villas and apartments to rent for them.

I thoroughly enjoy helping people to organize their holidays and using my knowledge of the area to help them to get the most out of their holiday on the Costa del Sol. I also work closely with my owners to ensure that their properties offer holiday makers good quality accommodation at reasonable prices.

What we love about our property
I hand pick all of the properties I represent to ensure that they offer good quality and value for money and hope that you have a very enjoyable holiday on the Costa del Sol.
