Casita de la Mena Oak is a sweet little country retreat for up to 4 guests set in the beautiful Andalucian countryside but less than 30 minutes from the Costa del Sol. It is attached to, but completely independant from, the owners detached villa and altogether is set in 8,000 sq. meters of peace and tranquility. It has it's own patio and BBQ area looking out over a wonderful vista.
The casita consists of a large comfortably furnished living/dining room with a fitted kitchen area which is equipped with an electric hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, electric kettle and a good selection of cooking utensils,crockery, glassware etc. In the living room there is a flat screen TV and a DVD player, there is also a double sofa bed so 4 guests, preferably 2 adults and 2 children, can be accommodated. The good sized twin bedroom leads off here and this has an en-suite shower room.
Outside, this delightful holiday home has it's own private patio and BBQ area which has been provided with patio furniture and sunbeds thus making it a perfect spot for al fresco dining or just relaxing and taking in the lovely far reaching views.
A WiFi internet connection is available from this terrace.
A path leads round from here to the swimming pool and sun terrace from where you have more beautiful views of the surrounding peaceful countryside.The pool is for the sole use of guests staiying at Casita de la Mena Oak.

All prices are fully inclusive of electricity, gas, linen,towels and a welcome pack.
Breakfast can be provided each morning of your stay, if you wish, at the very reasonable rate of 35.00 euros per person per week,payable on site.
Due to the layout of the property it is best suited to a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children.
Smoking is permitted outside only please.
Change over day is flexible.
50% deposit secures with the balance due six weeks before the start of your holiday.

The village of Coin is situated far enough inland not to suffer from tourism in huge quantities, however it is easily accessible and is a great place to visit at any time of the year. Coin is roughly a 20-minute drive from Marbella and 30-minutes from Malaga airport.
Although popularity continues to grow over the years, Coin isn’t somewhere to stay if you want an action-packed holiday. Holidaymakers are attracted as it offers somewhere that is peaceful and pretty, has lots of ancient buildings to look, yet isn’t too far away from the livelier resorts. Coin has many citrus groves growing in the region, this is due to the very fertile land in which surrounds it.
The lively bustling town of Coin is about 10 minutes away by car and here you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Mid August is feria time when the town really comes alive with most of the festivities going on all night long.
The property is well situated to take in both the lively atmosphere of the Costa del Sol with its excellent beaches, shops, bars and restaurants as well as the beauty and tranquility of inland Andalucia. So much of the area is still unspoilt and steeped in centuries old country traditions that it really is a wonderful place to explore and such a contrast to the vibrant resorts of the Costa del Sol.
About us
My name is Ruth Polak and I live with my family near to the village of Casares in the mountains of Andalucia. We bought a run down Finca of 30,000 sq m. of land in 1992 and my husband, being a builder, renovated and built the house up.
I began renting an apartment on our Finca and our house in the village of Casares about 6 years ago and since then I have taken on other peoples villas and apartments to rent for them.
I thoroughly enjoy helping people to organize their holidays and using my knowledge of the area to help them to get the most out of their holiday on the Costa del Sol. I also work closely with my owners to ensure that their properties offer holiday makers good quality accommodation at reasonable prices.

“We had a wonderful relaxing break and the scenery was beautiful. The apartment was very tastefully furnished, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Beautiful swimming pool with mountain views all round. Our hosts were very welcoming and could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was a feast, eaten al fresco looking out on the mountain views. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a get away from it all break. Car essential.”
