Welcome to our beautiful detached 2 bedroom villa situated on the luxury Polaris World resort of La Torre, on the Costa Calida’s “Warm Coast” region of Spain. La Torre is a large gated community, with 24hr security and a wide variety of facilities that make it the perfect holiday location for both families and golfers alike.
The resort boasts an 18 hole Nicklaus Design golf course, 15 communal pools, Childrens play areas, tennis courts, restaurants and bars all within 5 minutes walk from the villa. The resort also has a 5 star Intercontinental hotel which will include a luxury Spa.
The villa is built in a “bungalow style” with a large roof terrace, private garden and outside dining area, and has been furnished to a high standard with a modern feel throughout.
The living accommodation consists of two twin en-suite bedrooms overlooking the garden to the rear of the villa. Both bedrooms have a stylish contemporary design and are complete with built in wardrobes providing ample storage space. Each room has air conditioning and separate central heating system for your comfort all year round. For our younger guests cots are available by request free of charge.
The bathrooms are in immaculate condition with fully tiled walls which continues the modern style. The bathroom adjoining bedroom one has separate shower, modern sink/storage unit, W/C, heated towel rail and shaving point. Bathroom two has a bath, sink, bidet, W/C, heated tower rail and shaving point.
The spacious air conditioned lounge/dining room has a dual aspect with patio doors to the rear of the villa leading onto the outside dining area. Continuing with the contemporary feel, the room has been decorated with modern furniture and fittings, including 2 & 3 seater leather sofa and 32” wall mounted LCD TV with English TV including BBC. A selection of DVD’s and games are also provided for your entertainment. The dining area to the front of the villa is complemented with dining table and chairs to accommodate 4 guests.
The patio doors from the lounge lead outside onto the private garden & patio area with table and 4 chairs, complete with gas BBQ ideal for ‘al fresco’ dining.
The impressive kitchen and utility room are fully equipped with all modern appliances, including electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer dishwasher & washing machine. For all guests convenience there is ample cutlery, crockery and glassware.
With all the living area situated on the ground floor, the villa boasts an impressive spacious roof terrace, complete with 4 sun loungers so you can enjoy the beautiful Spanish sun all day long or watch the sunset with a glass of Sangria in the evening!
The villa is equipped with broadband, connecting using an ethernet cable, guests would need to purchase vouchers from the clubhouse or supermarket.
Please note we also supply a free welcome pack, including tea, coffee, milk, sugar, orange juice and bread.

Prices include linen and towels (excluding beach towels). An additional £50 charge is payable with balance for departure clean, please note 2 week stays do not include a mid stay clean. £100 non refundable deposit is required to secure booking, balance due 8 weeks prior to travel.
A 10% discount is offered to any guests who book a two week stay or longer, excludes July, August & September
Preferred method is payment is by cheque, we also accept payment via credit/debit cards using Paypal, however there is a 5% charge for this payment method.
We can arrange airport pickups & drop off at 40 euros each way, payable locally.
La Torre is situated on the Costa Calida "Warm Coast" region of Spain, which enjoys sunshine all year round which makes it the perfect location for a golfing break or family holiday & is ideally located only 15 minutes from Murcia Airport & 45 minutes from Alicante Airport.
During your holiday at La Torre you will have your choice of any of the 15 communal swimming pools, many of which have Jacuzzi’s and children’s splash pools and various sporting facilities including tennis courts and many children’s play areas throughout the resort which are ideal for young families.
All golfers staying in our villa will have guests playing rights which entitles you to a reduction in green fees at all of the golf courses on the Polaris World Nicklaus Golf Trail. Currently this applies to La Torre, Mar Menor, El Valle & Hacienda Riquelme, all these courses are within a 15 minute drive or via a free shuttle bus. As an additional service we can book tee times on request.
The par 68 course at La Torre presents a great test for golfers of all abilities, the emphasis is more on positional play from the tee rather than power. The fairways are generous but being in the right spot is crucial if you are to find the greens or get close to the pins which are generally well guarded by sand or water. The greens are large and undulating and can become quick in places where 3 putts can become the norm !!
The town centre and central plaza are situated around a large lake and is the ideal place for adults to have a drink and relax whilst the children are able to play safely. This area boasts a number of bars & restaurants serving a variety of quality food and drink, including an Italian, Tapas, Paella / traditional Spanish, Irish Bar & Ice-cream Parlor providing all you need on your doorstep. However for the more adventurous local towns are within a 10 minutes drive.

If you choose not to hire car during your holiday, the resort provide a free shuttle bus service which will collect and return you to each Polaris resort.
Within easy reach of the resort you will find many outdoor activities such as Horse riding, Hiking and Cycling, together with numerous water sports to be found on the Mar Menor and Mediterranean.
You will find the beautiful sandy beaches of the Mar Menor which stretch for miles are just a 10 minute drive away, and the still shallow waters are ideal for children, or for those who enjoy walking the promenade along the beaches is the perfect way to relax.
For the whole family to enjoy there are 2 large Water Slide Parks nearby, Aqua Natura in Murcia and Aquapolis in Torrevieja, both offer fantastic thrill rides together with childrens play areas.
The nearby town of Los Alcazares (10 mins) is a great place for beaches & restaurants a few of our favorites are RUN (Asian/Thai), La Diva (International cuisine), Penny Farthing (Great English Breakfast) all are located in the main pedestrianised square area.
The historic cities of Murcia & Cartagena are within easy reach by car, both cities are very good for shopping.
About a 30 minutes drive is the traditional fishing village of Cado de Palos, the restaurants around the harbour are well worth a visit, especially for those who like their fish & seafood !!
As well as the 4 Polaris golf courses there are also many others in the region, including La Manga Club (3 courses), Roda, Serena, Mosa Trajectum & La Finca. I am a keen golfer myself so please feel free to contact me if you need any further details.
My wife and bought this property 5 years ago, we have been coming to this part of Spain for the past 15 years and have grown to love the culture, scenery and of course the year long sunshine!
Although the villa was bought primarily as rental property we visit frequently ourselves and try to pay particular attention to the small personal details when decorating and furnishing the villa, our guests feedback have been very positive and make the extra effort well worthwhile.
The reason we purchased this property was beacuse of the Resort infrastructure, services & security.
The villa has a great bungalow design, thus allowing for a large sun terrace. This together with its position on the resort it is ideally located to walk to all the resort amenities and golf course.

“We stayed at this villa for a early spring golfing break - early April 2009. The weather was lovely, warm and sunny perfect for golf. This villa is so welcoming and relaxing we didn't want to leave to come home. We managed to play some tennis and get to swim at a nearby beach although we had come purely for the golf. We will be recommending your villa to our golfing friends and anyone who is looking to get away from UK winters for some sunshine .”

“We had an amazing time at your villa and have raved about it to anyone who will listen to us. I have sent an enquiry to the website as I was not sure how to add our comment to your guestbook.
Everything was perfect including the location and Nikki should try out the beauty parlour on site as i found it much cheaper than home. It was sooo relaxing and the staff could not have been friendlier. Your Dad may have told you the water went off a couple of times which was funny but it never hampered our enjoyment of the holiday. Your neighbour over the back (Julia) was lovely and really helpful so we had a chat over the fence a few times. Your villa was the best one we have stayed at yet and that was our third visit to the area. All the little extras and touches you guys have put in your home was lovely, really clean and truly was "home from home" but with sunshine!!! Both Val and have no hesitation to recommend your villa as we both work in large organisations so hopefully you will get some response. Flights were on time and trouble free but unfortunately never went out of business as we could have stayed on for a while rather than catch return home!
Thank you both for accepting our booking and we will be back, possibly next year so a discount will be our motivation to get you some bookings. Pass on our thanks again to your Dad who was a star and took us round the resort to show us where everything was and it was lovely to meet both him and your Mum and glad she just had to put her feet up when she came round.
