This beautifully maintained, privately owned property is so perfectly situated approx 5 Streets from the palm tree lined seafront.

It will appeal to all, as you have your very own private outdoor pool, the luxury of air conditioning throughout ( essential in this very hot climate) and UK TV Channels (from BBC 1 to Sky Movies). The benefit of a few minutes walk to a selection of beautiful beaches, restaurants, bars and supermarkets makes you think of 'Location, Location, Location'.

No need to hire car with this rental. Everywhere is walkable. You have all you need right on your doorstep.

The day long sunshine provides the option of sunbeds to the rear or loungers to the front. It is also safe for families with young children as this pool area can be secured. Much welcomed shade from awnings allows for 'alfresco dining' on both front and rear patios.

Everyones needs are catered for with this rental, from its proximity to the beaches plus its own pool, to being a short distance from the airport so not needing a car.

Direct flights from all UK airports to Alicante Airport - 45min or at the moment Murcia( San Javier) but this may change. Airport Transfers may be available, please ask the owners for details.

This area is favoured by the Spanish themselves, which speaks for itself. As you see, the map below shows Torre De La Horadada is situated right on the coast.

Owner's Tips

La Torre (Torre De La Horadada) is totally surrounded by some of the most beautiful 'blue flag' sandy beaches in the area, headed by a large Tower. The palm tree lined promenade over looks beaches and a picturesque Marina. The local square has a wide variety of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes - cash points for your convenience which takes all UK cards/switch/maestro etc.

A Supermarket recently relocated just over the bridge within walking distance. In and around this area, in and out of season, you will find wonderful outdoor street markets selling local fruits and vegetables, clothes and bric a brac. More importantly for the keen shoppers 'Dos Mares' Shopping Mall is a must, approx 10min taxi/car ride away.

All the beaches have European Blue Flag ratings. During the season local beach bars are buzzing, serving a vast selection of food, drinks & ice creams. Which means you can stay on the beach all day if you wish. Water activities for all age groups too.

Other activities include Golf, Tennis & Football courts, jet ski hire, cycle hire (excellent flat terrain) and sailing. There is a large Water theme park near the main town of Torrevieja plus a funfair and nearer still a go-cart racing track for all ages. A popular day trip for all is Terra Mitica theme park (similar to Alton Towers) . Visit the beautiful city of Murcia , the port of Cartagena further south and even La Manga is only 30 min drive.

Torre De la Horadada is a resort where the Spanish own many holiday homes which creates such a fabulous atmosphere. However, out of season it is very peaceful as many Spanish are not in residence, apart from weekenders. Even so, you will still find restaurants and bars open all year round, plus weekly markets. The local town of Pilar boasts delightful fiesta days with many different parades, free entertainment for all the family all year round.

Out of season a car would be recommended if you wished to get out and about, but not essential.

This region is extremely popular with golfers as it has many of the best professional championship golf courses in Spain. La Romero is the newest course which is just in Pilar. Other local courses include Villa Martin, Campamor and Las Ramblas , all only a few kilometres away.

About us
Hello, thank you for taking the time to read the details of our property.

We are a family of four, living in Bushey, Hertfordshire. Having an additional home in Spain was a decision we made 10 years ago, and we have never looked back. We all cherish the time we can afford to spend in Spain and of course, never want to come back . During the summer holidays, the children spent their younger years learning the language and embracing the Spanish way of life. Now as teenagers they prefer to go alone! One day maybe.

We came to the conclusion that rather than the property stay empty for most of the year, we should rent it out, so 7 years ago we did just that. Since then we have been blessed with help of others who work terribly hard keeping our property in tip top condition.

What we love about our property
Without a doubt the proximity to the beaches and of course the pool, you then have the best of both worlds. We never rent a car when we visit, as it really is not necessary. Being able to walk everywhere, yet not have to walk too far to get anywhere, is a blessing. Having air conditioning, in such a hot climate, is a luxury that I believe most people would welcome. We do, especially during the summer months where temperatures can reach the 40's . We ensure the house is fully equipped with everything you have in your own home, as again that is what we would wish for should we rent.
This is a very Spanish area, both our neighbours are Spanish, infact all in the vacinity are too. The promenade oozes charm in the Summer, with both young and old walking the boardwalk. Many people who visit Torre, do return.

Finally, we are passionate about our clients enjoying their stay and many of our clients return, that is a true compliment.
