About Villa Fortuna
Very tastefully furnished villa, set in own grounds, with large private south facing pool (8m x 4m) and high walls allowing greater privacy.
The villa is set on a plot of 350m2, with beautiful patio/terracing area. An enclosed secure garden makes this ideal for families with small children, along with the child gate to prevent them entering the pool area..
Villa Fortuna benefits from 2 double bedrooms (both double beds are IKEA) , one twin room, and a fully fitted kitchen with solid wooden surfaces and built in appliances. There is air-conditioning in all bedrooms. There is a single foldaway camp bed suitable for children, that can fit into the lounge.
The lounging area has ample seating for 6, in two contemporary style red sofas and a chair. There is a TV and DVD player and a selection of toys available.
There is also a wireless remote lighting system for the pool lights in the evening.
Outdoors, we have a large south facing terrace stretching the width of the villa, overlooking the pool, and views to the Sierra Espuna mountain range at the side. We have part of our terrace shaded with bamboo, to allow you to dine outside in comfort and take shade, or you can move to the unshaded area if preferred. We have solid Acacia Wooden furniture (6 chairs and a table, and with comfy cushions). There are also 6 sun loungers, down on the non slip sunbathing terrace around the pool.
A travel cot and booster seat are available, as well as a toy box of children's toys.
We have included the little things that we like, for example: feather duvets, stainless steel cutlery.

£200 booking deposit per week, with the balance due 10 weeks before departure.

Owner's Tips
About Camposol Golf resort - 18 hole golf course and driving range, restaurant and bar (20 mins walk). We had "menu del dia" here, 4 courses... salad to start, then selection of Spanish cheeses and meets, followed by a main course, and then desert, all for €12. Excellent value and normally weekly entertainment here too.
Hotel with bar, restaurant, cafe, health spa and hair dressers - 20 mins walk.
Evening Entertainment
The golf club house and Spa Hotel, hosts evening entertainment twice weekly usually (during the summer, but no guarantees). For example, some of the entertainment during July and August 2011 are tribute bands of ' Showaddywaddy, Hot Chocolate, Queen, The Bee Gees, Rod Stewart, Beach Boys and Abba..
Communal swimming pool with bar and children's pool (small local charge and seasonal).
Shops, supermarket selling fresh fish, meat, bread and selection of wines and beers, bars, restaurants (including Marianna's with superb menu del dia for 10€). Indian, Spanish, pizza and Chinese restaurant on site.
Puerto de Mazarron & many beaches within a 15 minute drive.
Murica and Alicante airport (50 mins and 1 hour 10 mins) serviced by low cost airlines (transfers can be arranged, although we consider a car is essential for this holiday). Ten pin bowling alley and pool hall.
About the area
Camposol Golf lies on the Costa Calida, with many fine beaches. It has many surrounding typical Spanish villages and towns. You can catch the train from the picturesque town of Totana, into Murcia, which takes 20 minutes.
Mazarron Town, with banks and little shops and restaurants, as well as the markets, is just 10 minutes drive.
The pretty little seafront of Puerto de Mazarron is a further 5 minutes drive, with an esplanade lined with tapas bars and restaurants and little boutiques, as well as a small marina.
Murcia airport is 1 hour, and Alicante is 1 hour and 10 minutes.

“The villa is very well equipped and we were very comfortable, although we were very rarely indoors, except for sleeping. Even when we ate 'at home' we barbecued so we never actually cooked in the kitchen. We loved the pool and spent a lot of time in or beside it. Please note though, when we arrived we found that the back of two of the sunbeds were broken and could only be used without the back being propped up and a third had a big crack in it - so we were limited to 3 (which was not a problem as Alistair preferred to sit in the shade on the veranda anyway, but it could be if you had more guests).
I think a car is essential as the villa is a long way from any amenities but the train service that was introduced earlier this year is excellent and fun (although due to the end of the summer season,
the last service back to D Sector was 10.00 pm). We attended the Monday night quiz at the Golf club twice - and distinguished ourselves by coming last, thus earning a bottle of wine - we like to think this is because the questions were written for people rather old than us.
We had a couple of trips to Cartegena and would recommend visiting this historical city to anyone visiting the area. The Roman Amphitheatre and the boat trip round the bay were real highlights. We also particularly enjoyed visiting the market at Totana, which we found to be the best of the three we visited (Mazzaron and Camposol A sector being the other two). We also visited several local beaches and found them to be really clean, although some are more pebbly than others. We found some great tapas bars and thoroughly enjoyed sampling their different offerings.
I would love to come back next year and will be in touch.”

Thanks for a lovely stay in Camposol the villa was lovely. We will definitely consider going back again. Just wondering when we will be receiving our deposit back? Thanks again for a lovely time, however the boiler needs servicing as we were without hot water for most of the holiday. Hope to do business again soon”

“I just wanted to say a huge thank you for letting us rent your villa, we had an absolute fabulous time there. Infact so much that if possible could you keep the £150.00 deposit for the villa as a deposit for next years holiday, if possible please could we book the same two weeks (fri to fri.
Also when we were in the villla we would leave the gate unlocked with the chain and the padlock dangaling (with the lock dangaling the side of the villa) some kind person has stollen it off the gate, again we did let george know about this he said he would sort it out but i was just worrying that you thought we had been irresponsible.
We've left plenty of pool toys and body boards for the next people coming in!!!!

“The villa was lovely, it was lovely and clean, and had everything in it that we could need. The pool was a lovely size and the surrounding area was peaceful. Due to its location a car was needed to get around, so it would have been nice to have been a little nearer to the shops and bars etc.Mariannas restaurant on Sector A was lovely a typical spanish restaurant and our other favourites were Trevis and Bollywood Indian Restaurant. Overall it was a lovely villa and we had a great time.”
