This is a really lovely family villa in a fantastic location - only 20 minutes drive from Reus airport and 1 hour south of Barcelona airport.The villa is opposite parklands and is one of 18 on a well maintained private complex with a large swimming pool in the middle. It's only a 3 minute walk to the local cafe, 15 minutes to the supermarkets and 20 minutes walk to Miami beach.
Upstairs there are 3 large bedrooms - one double with a sitting area and wrap-around terrace; a second double; and a twin - all with big built in robes. There is a large bathroom, with a bath.
Downstairs there is a modern fully-equipped kitchen; a lounge with two suede double sofa-beds, a two seater leather sofa, flat screen TV and satellite channels; a dining area with seating for eight; and second bathroom with shower. Internet access can be arranged through the on-site manager.
There is a patio with outdoor furniture, a sun-bathing patio, charcoal grill, lockable car-parking and a fenced garden.
The on-site manager greets you on arrival and shows you to your villa where there is a welcome pack that includes wine, water, milk and soft-drinks. She is on-call 24 hours a day during your stay.

Rental of bed linen & towels is an optional extra and can be paid direct to site manager on arrival.

Towels (1 bath towel & 2 hand towels):- 4 Euros per person
150€ security deposit paid direct to site manager on arrival and will be returned on departure, less any cost for loss or damage as applicable.

Miami Playa is a small town that lies in a beautiful landscape between the Mediterranean sea and the mountains, in the southern part of the Costa Dorada: 120 km from Barcelona and 20 km from Salou. A coastal line of fully changing beauty: pure & sandy beaches, breathtaking cliffs and hidden bays lead to the cristal clear and clean sea water. For the sportive holiday makers Miami Playa also offers numerous possiblities such as surfing, sailing, water ski, tennis, squash, riding, golf & mini golf, mountainbiking and fishing.
After a stroll along the shore, there are many inviting restaurants available. Whether you prefer the French, Italian, German, Argentinian or Chinese kitchen, you will find it all here. Do not forget to visit one of the regional Catalan restaurants. The traditionally prepared dishes with freshly caught local fish and seafood, promise true enjoyment. Magical conclusion to each day of holiday are the folklore shows. Let these Spanish traditions warm your heart. Enjoy the summer evenings with a good Spanish wine or Sangria on the terrace of one of the enchanting bars.
From the villa, Port Aventura adventure park is a 20 min drive; BonMont Golf Course 15 min drive; Barcelona 1 hour. Trains run every couple of hours to Port Aventura, Tarragona and Barcelona from L'Hospitalet station, which is an 8 Euro taxi fare away.
I'm an Aussie and my husband is Spanish and for years we've loved holidaying in the area around Barcelona. My husband's sister and Uncle each purchased a villa in the Parc Salida complex about 5 years ago and raved about the facilities and the location. So much so that when Casa Marina came up for sale we just had to have it! Each year we holiday in the villa during December and January when our kids are on their summer break - the opposite of the northern hemisphere. We were over in January 2010 and purchased new furniture and the place was looking so good we didn't want to leave.
The villa is in a great location - it's only a one hour's drive from Barcelona which is where we always fly into. There's a lovely bakery near the villa and there's nothing better than their fresh pastries with coffee on the terrace in the villa on a sunny morning. With a car there's loads to see in the area and we love going up into the mountains where there are some beautiful villages with great restaurants. I personally like a bit of history and nearby towns like Reus, Mont-Roig, Tarragona, and Mont Blanc are full of old castles, ruins, cemetaries and interesting things to see. The kids love the pool, the beach and going to Port Aventura, which is also great fun.
