Playa Bastian

“This apartment is very well appointed, furnished in a modern style that feels quite "penthouse" for want of a better word. In fairness the pictures don't really do it justice. My son was quite impressed. Two bedrooms, simply but tastefully furnished sit at either end of this long apartment, both with reasonably private access to a bathroom each. They would provide sufficient privacy for a two couple holiday or, as in my case, parents and children. I suffer from backache on occasion but the bed was comfortable and caused me no problems at all. Both bathrooms were very nicely decorated in modern tile decor, the one near the master bedroom had a large walk in shower which would be suitable for any size or shape! The other offered a full sized bath.
The kitchen and living room occupied the centre of the apartment. The kitchen was well equipped in equipment, microwave, hob, oven etc. All nice kit. It would have been nice to have some sundries here though like sugar or tea or a drop of milk. Maybe a little welcome pack after a long journey? The living area was comfortable, light and airy. While there was no air conditioning the windows could be opened to create a nice flow of air throught the apartment.
For those wishing to take some entertainment on their hols the TV comes with a DVD player that plays Xvid, DivX and MP3. If this means nothing to you don't worry about it! 32" TV was nice but local reception of English channels was Okay to Poor on occasion....cloudy night? A selection of DVD's and books was available in a utility cupboard.
The balcony was large and had an excellent view of the pool area. The pool was excellent and plenty of bed availability in November. There was no parasols but shade could be obtained around the pool-bar, which was reasonably priced and offered English goods like bread and milk.
The resort was well positioned, minutes from the beach and a 10 minute easy walk to the town centre. There is also an excellent kids municpal adventure park near the beach which my son enjoyed.
All in all we had a lovely stay at this apartment and can only recommend it. Dealing with Paul was easy and he was communicative and responsive to information requests. Although it's always an interesting feeling handing over your money upfront on trust alone, Paul delivered the goods and repaid the deposit quickly.”

“Excellent apartment. We arrived to find the apartment very clean, spacious and very comfortable. This apartment with its own private patio overlooking the pool had probably one of the best locations on the complex. The Playa Bastian complex itself is maintained to a very high standard, the on-site private pool was clean and refreshing, with plenty of sun loungers to use and there was a friendly pool-side bar. We hired a car from the airport and there was plenty of space to park the car outside the apartment. There are shops and restaurants within a 2 minute walk from the apartment and Costa Teguise centre with its restaurants and bars are all within a short 10-15 minute walk. Great value for money and I would definately use again.”

“This is an excellent apartment. The apartment has everything you need for a great holiday.
There are lots or excellent restaurants within a five minute walk. The centre of Costa Tequise is only a 10 to 15 minute walk by a coastal path. The apartment is furnished to a good standard and the owners have thought of everything.”
