No 4 The Mansions, Calle El Jable

“My family and I have had the pleasure to stay at Stuart and Christine's villa on two occasions. This villa will offer you all the home comforts you require. It is very spacious, clean and modern with plenty of space for a party of 9 which mine was. The villa is situated in Callao Salvaje which is a pretty, quiet town. The restaurants and supermarkets are easily accessible via foot or car. The water parks Aqualand (smaller children) and the new Siam Park are accessible by car. The local bus runs frequently from the town to the surrounding areas. The setting for this villa is one not to be missed, especially in the evening during your bbq around the pool area. You would be a fool to pass this villa by, that is why I will be returning in Feb 2012”

“We have just spent Christmas and New Year at Chris and Stuarts villa and had an excellent time. We managed to get out to Tenerife just as England was shutting down due to the snow and was joined by my sister and her family a few days later. The villa is located in a residential area which is nice and peaceful and well placed to reach most places. Las Americas and Los Gigantes is only about a 10-15 minute drive away. The villa is well furnished, the pool was excellent and the games room a useful addition as we had a table tennis competition throughout our stay. We spent christmas day at the villa around the pool playing games and having steaks and prawns done on the barbeque. Boxing day was spent whale watching from Los Gigantes which was an exciting experience. New years eve celebration in the plaza at La Caleta is a must do and one we would definitely do again. If we needed to know what was on or where to go all we needed to do was contact Stuart or his contact Carlos, both were very knowledgable. The seafood restaurant at La Caleta was excellent.
On the whole we had an excellent holiday and would definitely look at using this Villa again or one of Chris and Stuarts other properties.”

“My family and my friends family stayed here at the end of November. It is a beautiful villa, and we were made very very welcome, when Chris and Stuart came on the Sunday morning. The 3 kids absolutely enjoyed the pool, and the bbq. Calloa Salvaje is a beautiful place to stay, quiet but thats what we wanted, We walked down to the main part every night, had drinks at the the Three Horseshoes, had something to eat at Casa Maria most nights, the kids liked going there because there was one particular waiter that danced and was really funny. The villa is a must, this is the first time we have ever done a villa, and I would recommend this to anyone. We are definitely going back to this villa or the other one that Chris and Stuart have. Fantastic”

“The property has a number of damp problems , the games room in the basement fills with water if it rains, the windows leak if it rains and we were forever mopping up floors. All the bases of the walls are damp and where this is in cupboards such as the kitchen it smells. On the plus side the maitenance staff were very attentive and dealt with the problems as they occurred and spoke good English. It is what we would call a tired property”

Owner's response: With response to the review it was not mentioned that we had the worst storms for 30 years over a 4 week period and unfortunatly two weeks was during their stay many propertys and hotels were flooded.We have always endevored to keep the villa in good condition always carrying out maintenence between arrivals.In the ten years of renting the villa we have never had any complaints and are very upset by the review.
