About the property

Villa La Solana is situated in an elevated position on the outskirts of the "foodie" village of Alcalali, in the heart of the Jalon Valley, approx 5 minutes' drive to the town of Jalon and 20 to 25 minutes' from a choice of excellent sandy beaches. The village of Alcalali is set in the middle of citrus and olive groves with a dramatic backdrop of mountains. There are several excellent restaurants within 5/10 minutes' walk of the villa.

Villa La Solana has an upper floor with conservatory dining room, lounge, family shower room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms (one with king bed and one with twin beds). The lower floor has a further twin bedroom and shower room and is accessed from a separate entrance on the garden terrace. The villa is very well-equipped and furnished and has high quality bed-linens and towels.

The villa is offered as a 2 bedroomed option at a discount so this offers an ideal opportunity for a group of 2 - 4 persons who want all the benefits of a detached villa with private pool at a lower price.

Bedroom 1 with kingsize bed. Bedroom 2 with twin beds. Bedroom 3 with twin beds (in separate annexe on lower floor). Please note this bedroom is not accessible from inside the main villa but is accessed from the garden terrace, therefore not suitable for young children. Bedlinens throughout this villa are of a very high standard (John Lewis). Shower room with large walk-in shower with wc on upper floor. Shower room with wc (in separate annexe on lower floor).

Kitchen is well-equipped and has cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave. Serving hatch through to conservatory dining room. Washing machine (in shower room on upper floor).

Lounge with 2 comfy sofas, TV with Astra digital freeview channels (BBC World, Eurosport), DVD player. Dining room (seating for 6) in naya area to the front of the villa with stunning mountain views from triple aspect windows. There are ceiling fans throughout the villa and an air-conditioning unit in the master bedroom.

The pool and garden terraces are accessed by steps and a path from the front entrance of the villa. There is a covered naya terrace with dining furniture for 6, sunloungers, BBQ, 8 x 4 metre pool with roman steps. The gardens are totally walled and gated (lockable) and the villa has a driveway for off-road parking.

Please note that if you rent the 2 bedroomed option, we do not rent the 3rd bedroom annexe - the villa is exclusively yours.

A security damages deposit of £150 is required in addition to the property rental which is refunded to you within 10 working days of your departure, once the villa has been cleaned/changed over.

A 25% deposit is required to secure your booking and the balance of rental plus security damages deposit is payable within 8 weeks of your arrival.

Owner's Tips...

The nearest shops, bars, and restaurants to the villa are in Alcalali village, 1 minute by car or a 10 minute walk. There are larger shops, banks, wineries, internet cafes in Jalon town, 5 minutes by car.

There is a large choice of country restaurants within the Jalon Valley villages all of which serve superb "menus del dia", a 3 course dinner including wine for around 10 euros/£7 per person. The most popular of these restaurants are situated in Alcalali village and easily walkable from Villa La Solana.
