About the property

Tranquil ground floor 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment on Torrox Park complex.

The main bedroom has fitted wardrobes with a large en-suite, 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds, double wardrobe and the 2nd bathroom adjoining. Large chaise lounge so great for putting your feet and possibly good enough for a child to sleep on if there is a 3rd child.. All bedding provided including towels which is a godsend these days with the weight restriction on flights. We also try and provide throughout the year all suntan creams/ oils of all factors, aftersun, shampoo,conditioner and shower gel. Hairdryer with various attachments. Iron and Ironing board.

Large south facing patio which is a sun trap with garden area. Sun all day and into late evening. Sun loungers/chairs and table provided. Gated pool for residents only with the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada.

Fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, microwave, cooker and fridge-freezer. Fully equipped, breakfast bar.

Sunny lounge with UK satellite TV, CD/DVD and video player. Toys for the children including colouring books, reading books and games. Children and adult videos, (not those kind) electric skateboard and electric scooters, boogie boards, lilo's and children's armbands. Parasol's to take to the beach.

On the complex we have 3 restaurants, coffee bars, supermarkets we are approx 7 mins from Nerja by car. The promendade for Torrox beach is at the end of our road full of restaurants and chiringuitos, barbecues of fresh fish/meat cooked on the beach 10 minutes to Torre de Mar, complete coastline in either direction of beaches, including the famous Burriana Beach with waves which the children love, Torre de Mar has approx 3 miles of white sandy beaches, go karts pedal cycles,night market and on the beach volleyball, bunjee ropes and pedalo's.

About Nerja, Costa del Sol

Another popular resort on the Costa del Sol, Nerja is situated to the east of Malaga. The fantastic beach with its golden sand is a huge bonus, and over the years this old fishing town has transformed into a lively holiday destination. You can visit the nearby caves that are a few kilometres outside the town, or see the famous “Balcon de Europa” in the historical part of the town.

As is common on the Costa del Sol, outside living is big. If you want to eat out every night, you can. There are plenty of reasonably priced restaurants offering both traditional and international cuisine. What better way to walk a meal off than by wandering round the narrow parts of the old town and imagining how it used to look years ago.

If you are looking for a holiday villa in Nerja there are many to choose from. There's a large selection of accommodation in Nerja catering for all party sizes and budgets.

Owner's Tips...

10 mins to Torre de Mar where there is go-karting, large water oark, bowling, cinema and huge shopping mall. Organised fishing trips in Caleta 15 mins away, scuba and all watersports in Nerja and Burriana beach. Torrox promenade with long sandy beach 2 minutes by car away. On the complex are several restaurants/bars, internet cafe, English Pub, supermarket, childrens playground, tennis courts.

Visit the famous Nerja caves, we are an hour and a bit away from Granada and the beautiful Alhambra Palace. Nearby are the moorish villages of Frigiliana, Torrox and Competa where you can buy beautiful handmade crafts and pots.

At the botom of the road all the way along the coastline in either directions are chiringuitos where you can eat fresh fish/meat on the beach, so many places of interest all available on request. For the golf lovers there are currently two being built 5 mins away along with a marina, there are approx 5 golf courses within 10/15 min drive and as you head ito Marbella there are at least 30 more all within 30/40 minute drive.

About us

We are a family of four with two daughters - we bought the apartment 7 years ago and have to date a 100% sucess rate with everyone complimenting us on the apartment. We try to make it as family orientated as possible but also nice for couples who want a quiet week away. We have constantly updated the apartment with new things each and every time we go there to make it as good as we want it for ourselves and everyone else to enjoy.

What we love about our property

We love the tranquility but at the same time within 5 minutes you have everything at hand, supermarkets, shops, coffee shop, fresh bread, internet. The gated pool is fab and even in the height of summer it is never busy just lovely and cool to swim in. All the beaches at the end of our road going either way is just endless miles of sandy beaches and great chiringuitos to eat fresh food from. Also to go up into the National Park which we can see from our kitchen window and then onto the Sierra Nevada where you can ski in the morning and come down to the beach in the afternoon. A great journey also visiting the Alahambra Palace or a bit further is the Wild West site where many of the great western films are made - ride horses/stunt shows etc.
