About the property
Casa Balaustradas is an English family owned villa offering a self-contained 2 bedroomed apartment with an additional 2 en-suite rooms available. We are situated just a 20 minute drive from Malaga airport, in Torrequebrada, in the Benalmadena Costa region, between Torremolinos and Fuengirola.
The property is in a quiet residential road, but no more than a short 10 minute walk to the local beach, cafes, bars, supermarkets and chemist.
The apartment is clean and spacious, with a double bedroom with en-suite shower/bathroom. The second bedroom is a large room, comfortable taking 3 singles, ideal for children. This room has an en-suite shower room. Both rooms then open onto the kitchen/lounge area, with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, T.V, and video player. The apartment has its own entrance, with the 'back door' opening onto the large pool terrace complete with sunloungers, BBQ, parasols, hammocks and shaded 'lounge' area.
The other rooms available are 2 twin rooms with en-suite shower-rooms. These open onto the private garden. The pool terrace looks down onto the garden, which then overlooks the prestigious Torrequebrada Golf course.

All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£) and are based on 2 people sharing.

Prices given are for the double room with lounge/kitchen only. Please enquire for prices of the second bedroom included, and for the further 2 twin rooms. These can be let seperately or as part of the apartment. A 10% discount will be given if all 4 rooms are booked.
Prices can be altered at any time, please contact us for an exact quote. A 10% deposit may be required to hold the booking, depending on size of booking and advance notice.
About Benalmadena, Costa del Sol
Benalmadena is divided into three areas. Benalmadena Pueblo, a beautiful Andalucian village with narrow streets of whitewashed houses with flowers covering the balconies. Arroyo de la Miel, a small but modern and fashionable town of shops and businesses popular with tourists. Benalmadena Costa, with a 9km long beach and a 2km long promenade.
The beautiful Puerto Marina with over 1000 moorings has twice been awarded Best Marina in the World. It has a new shopping centre plus 200 shops, bars and restaurants and also a shipyard, sailing school, diving school, nautical school and a Sea Life Centre.
Parque de la Paloma features a large lake with a fountain and waterfall with ducks, swans and other water fowl and landscaped gardens with enclosures for a variety of animals and birds. Rabbits and other wildlife roam free. The large Cactus Garden displays cacti from all over the world.
If it's culture you are after, Castile Bil Bil is an amazing Arabic building with a series of fountains outside, which houses exhibitions and concerts hosted by the Town Hall. Benalmadena Auditorium was opened in 2003 with a recital by Jose Carerras. Many famous people have played here and the open air concerts are not to be missed. Casa de la Cultura has exhibitions and concerts throughout the year.
There is a thriving nightlife for younger people or choose to go to the 5* Torrequebrada Hotel which houses the resort's only casino and a spectacular cabaret show.
With Tivoli World, open air markets, the cable car, the Dolphinarium and many other attractions, Benalmadena has something for everyone, be it old or young!
Owner's Tips...
The local area has many attractions for all ages. Aswell as the clean beaches, numerous Golf courses and the usual cafes, bars and restaurants, we have a wide range of activities and days out, from the renowned Fuengirola Zoo, Selwo Marina (boasting the only Penguiariam in Europe) and Dolphin shows daily, the Crocodile Park, mini Golf, Sealife Centre,and Tivoli Theme Park to name just a few! Paloma Park is lovely for a stroll and a picnic - everything a park should be, there is horseriding, mountain bike hire, sailing, scuba-diving and more. For the more relaxed, there are day trips to charming whitewashed mountain side Villages, shopping in Gibraltar, day trips with wine and sherry tasting.
