About the property

A recently built and well maintained two bedroom apartment in Antigua Bay, Caleta de Fuste. On a private enclosed complex with two swimming pools, one for children. With views to the sea and gardens.

Ideal for families who enjoy beach holidays and those that enjoy watersports, sailing and golfing. Perfectly situated for touring the island.

Cot, highchair and potty are provided free of charge. A bath and hand towel is provided for each person plus 4 beach towels.

A toy box, a selection of children, family DVD films and a choice of books and games are also supplied for your enjoyment.

Welcome packs are not normally supplied (there is a supermarket 2 mins from the apartment), but this can be arranged for you if arrival time is late evening.

Arrival & departure pick-ups can also be arranged, depending of the number of people. A fee is paid to the driver for this service.

About Costa Caleta, Fuerteventura

Costa Caleta (formerly known as Caleta de Fuste) thrives on tourism, with lots of accommodation to offer, a fantastic golden sandy beach popular for water sports enthusiasts. The tourist centre of El Castillo (the castle) stands next to the harbour and is well worth a visit.

The town of Caleta is often referred to as a holiday village. The man made beach has been carefully constructed to avoid currents and is in the shape of a horse shoe. This ensures it is perfectly safe for children of all ages. Those wanting to be a little more adventurous can go diving, hire jet skis or learn to windsurf at the water centre on the beach. Costa Caleta harbour is home to many yachts, catamarans and boats which provide local trips as well as providing a beautiful backdrop in the evenings.

There is a multitude of good restaurants in Costa Caleta that can cater for all tastes at very reasonable prices. Steaks and Fish are particularly good, however there are also Chinese, Indian, Greek and English restaurants all within a close area. There are also a number of good supermarkets within the area.

Situated on the east coast of the island, roughly 10km south of the airport and approximately 20 minutes south of Puerto del Rosario. There is a local bus service, which runs every 30 minutes and provides air conditioned coaches for the trip. At 1 Euro (65p) it is an extremely cheap and easy way to get around. Budget car rental in Costa Caleta is available for those wishing to explore the island at their leisure.

Owner's Tips...

The island has a unique blend of unusual landscape from volcanoes to vast expanses of natural parkland to the exceptionally beautiful beaches of Sahara sands.

The many villages offer a interesting day out and a drive across the mountains is a must. For a relaxing day you can enjoy a round of Golf or set sail to visit Lanzarote.
