Santa Clara is one of Estartit’s original villas, built to take advantage of the spectacular sea views from the Rocamaura Mountain which overlooks Estartit, the Medas Isles and the Mediterranean.

It has been completely modernised and re-developed over the last few years without losing any of its original charm. The villa has its own private swimming pool, surrounded by large terraces which offer a choice of sun or shade and plenty of garden furniture. Santa Clara is a near neighbour to both Villa Els Perdals and Villa Real - see website. The main entrance to Santa Clara is through a gate off the Carrer de Mediterranea where there is room in the front drive for private off road parking. There is also further private off road parking through the 2nd entrance from the Carrer Cantabrica below the villa.

On the upper floor there is access through the front door to the main reception hall with the living/dining room, kitchen and upstairs loo leading off. Outside the front door is a large patio with built in barbeque. Steps lead from the drive to a further covered patio outside the living room with doors leading into this spacious well furnished room complete with satellite TV and internet access. The 2 patios offer both sun and shade. They are furnished with tables and chairs and ideal for dining al fresco. The separate kitchen also has access from the living room and is well equipped with dishwasher, large fridge freezer, microwave, gas hob and eye level electric cooker.

Outside the front door is a detached single storey self contained double bedroom with en-suite shower room, ideal for grandparents or a couple accompanying a family on holiday and requiring their own “space”.

The other 3 bedrooms are on the floor below, accessed by a wide tiled staircase leading down from the spacious hall. The main master bedroom has a luxury en-suite bathroom with sunken bath and separate walk in shower. Patio doors from the bedroom lead to another large terrace. Two other bedrooms, one twin one double, share a luxurious shower room. Both have patio doors leading out to the terrace surrounding the swimming pool. On this level is also a laundry with automatic washing machine.

The villa is within walking distance of both beach and town, but a car is recommended for this property. Our American owners are retired and live in Santa Clara for most of the year.

It is very comfortably furnished and has internet access. The villa is available to our clients peak season when our owners will be visiting their own family in the USA.

About L'Estartit, Costa Brava

This modern holiday resort is probably best known for it's watersports. It has one of the best dive schools in the Costa Brava and many people come here for that reason alone. Underwater are some great coral reefs that divers just can't resist.

However this family resort has more than just watersports; the beach itself stretches some 5km, it is safe and clean and provides hours of fun for younger guests and it popular with families.

Owner's Tips

Estartit is the ideal place for a family holiday, it has a 5 km stretch of golden sandy beach. It is the premier diving resort on the Mediterranean. There are 6 golf courses within an easy drive of the resort. There are plenty of great restaurants and places to visit.
