About the property

Attractive, air conditioned 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, top floor apartment in Los Alcazares, Mar Menor, Costa Calida, Spain.

Our apartment can sleep up to 6 and also has a cot available. It is set in a delightful garden with a resident's pool and children’s pool within the grounds. Situated in the quiet area of Pueblo Patricia, but close to supermarkets, shops, banks and restaurants and within a 5-10 minutes walk of the beach. There is a private roof terrace / solarium, with sun loungers, table, parasol and BBQ.

Patio doors from the lounge lead to a balcony with outdoor table and chairs. Inside, the lounge and master bedroom have air conditioning and ceiling fans and there are also movable floor fans and heaters.

Holiday rental prices

All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£) and are based on 4 people sharing.

November - April	£180 per week for up to 4 guests (Plus £20 per additional guest)
May, June, September and October	£250 per week for up to 4 guests (Plus £20 per additional guest)
July and August	£375 per week for up to 4 guests (Plus £20 per additional guest)

We ask £50 per week as a deposit. This also acts as a security deposit and would be returned after you take your holiday, once we receive the keys back and provided that no extra costs are incurred such as excessive use of linen, or major breakages.

Please note the supplement of £20 per week is the flat rate for 5 or 6 people.

About Mar Menor, Costa Calida

This area is probably best known for having La Manga close by, La Manga is one of Europe’s premier sports centres, and you can expect to use some of the best facilities available.

La Manga Del Mar Menor offers whatever type of holiday is preferred. There are areas where windsurfing and sailing are more available due to the good windy conditions, but the small coves and Mar Menor Lagoon also allow for other watersports.

If a more leisurely break is your idea, then there are plenty of sheltered beaches and waterside cafes to enjoy the tapas and sangria. It is a unique part of Spain, with a cosmopolitan atmosphere and much to see and do.

Owner's Tips...

The area enjoys an average of 320 days of sunshine each year. The mineral-rich water of the Mar Menor, a vast seawater lagoon is revered for its health-giving properties. Los Alcazares is a small typically Spanish town on the edge of the Mar Menor. There is a long, safe, sandy beach, with showers, children’s play areas, bars, restaurants and a promenade stretching the length of the town about 10 minutes walk from the apartment. The Mar Menor offers shallow water with safe bathing, and also water sports.

If you are a golfer there are several established golf courses within 5-30 minutes from the apartment, notably Villamartin and La Manga. Several new courses have been built close to the town.

A comfortable drive will also take you to the busy towns of Alicante or Torrevieja with their shops, bars and nightlife. 30 km to the northwest can be found the historic city of Murcia, the region's administrative centre. 15 km to the southwest lies Cartagena, a delightful Roman port city which has recently been revitalized. The local tourist office may also arrange trips to these historic towns.
