Description About the property

Our keys are held by our lovely, retired neighbours who will accompany you to the apartment and generally help you to settle in, being residents they naturally have plenty of local knowledge. Our guests speak highly of them, please feel free to read the guest comments section.

We are family friendly so for the younger children there is a travel cot, a baby gate and a high chair available at no extra cost.

Our apartment is situated in La Florida, Torrevieja, La Florida is an established area with its own excellent supermarket and bars/restaurants within walking distance.

The apartment is a downstairs semi-detached and therefore has a patioed garden area, there are seven steps from the garden leading to the main door/terrace.

The apartment is air-conditioned and has a through lounge/diner with comfortable seating for six and an extendable dining table. There is also a sofa bed capable of sleeping three in the lounge area. For your entertainment there is satellite TV with Sky sports/News etc and a hi-fi with CD-player, also a DVD player.

The American style kitchen comes with fridge/ freezer, ovencombi microwave, toaster, coffee maker, 4 ring electric hob, full electric oven with extractor and a washing machine. You will find the kitchen very well equipped with plentiful crockery, pans and cutlery. To the rear of the kitchen you will find a small patio where you can sit and catch the sun or use as a utility area.

The apartment has one twin bedroom and a master bedroom both with built in wardrobes. The bathroom has been upgraded this year and is fully equipped with bath, an excellent shower and wc. The sink has an additional lit vanity unit and there are also ample towel rails. All bed linen and bathroom towels (not to be removed from the apartment) are provided.

For your comfort we have provided 3 speed ceiling fans in the two bedrooms and lounge area. Both bedrooms are air conditioned/heated too. Mosquito nets and roller blinds are fitted to the windows and extra security locks are fitted to the doors. There is a safe in the master bedroom free of charge.

Outside the apartment is a fantastic dining terrace, we love this area as it is very peaceful and quite romantic, evenings can be spent here dining al fresco whilst the kids are safely tucked up in bed yet it is also within a stones throw of the pool but very private at the same time, just below the terrace we have two patioed areas which are ideal for lazing on the sunbeds provided or having a BBQ, also provided. The garden is gated and can be locked as is the pool area, essential in our opinion.

Torrevieja is located south of Alicante, and it boasts lots of beaches, a natural park and salt lakes, if you´re lucky you may even see a passing flamingo! A popular place to stay, Torrevieja caters well for tourism, with plenty of activities on offer by day or night. Holiday villas in Torrevieja are widely available for those looking a place in the sun.

Visitor numbers increase greatly during the summer months of July and August, and Easter is another popular time, it’s no wonder the weather in Torrevieja is fantastic! There is a good selection of restaurants and shops galore, Torrevieja is the ideal choice for a fun-packed holiday in the sun.

Recommendations Owner's Tips...

Ideally situated between Alicante & Murcia airports our apartment is perfect for either a quiet 'chilling out' type of holiday due to its excellent location within the complex or for those who like to sample the local way of life we have bars/rests within walking distance, excellent blue flag beaches within 5 mins drive.

For golfers there are many courses in the area, the nearest three being Villamartin, Campoamar & Las Ramblas, these are all within an easy drive.

Torrevieja town is approx 10 mins drive and retains a very Spanish feel to it, as yet the area is untouched by the package holiday Companies. There are many excellent restaurants of all different nationalities, a Marina and a superb promenade where you will find the locals taking their evening 'paseo'. Alongside the promenade is an evening market and in summer a funfair.

A little further afield, cities also worth a visit are Cartagena, Murcia, Elche, Alicante and Orihuela.

We are more than happy to assist you with advice regarding flights/car hire or airport transfers should you not wish to drive. A car is helpful for seeing the best of the area but not absolutely essential.
