Newly tiled/refurbished large bright modern 1 bed 1st floor apartment beside the Old Town & Harbour & New Town & Strip which can sleep 4/5 people. Brand new kitchen, recently re tilled walls & floor, fully equipped with kettle, toaster, microwave/grill oven, double hob, fridge & ice box, iron & board, table & chairs.
The bedroom is large & bright with two single beds which can be pushed together to make a double bed, fitted wardrobes, with hangers, a chest of drawers, locker, a key lockable safe & a large fan. The bedroom also has blackout curtins to prevent sunlight from coming in in the mornings when guests are trying to sleep.
Large bright living room with TV & DVD player & about one hundred DVD's for guests to watch/listen to eg Films, Dramas, TV Serials, Kids Programmes, Sport & Music & a CD player, double sofabed, lamps & a large fan. The living room/kitchen area also has blackout curtains to prevent sunlight from coming in. We now have the two Irish TV Channels in the apt "RTE 1 & RTE 2" & "ITV". There are patio doors which lead to the newly tiled balcony with table & chairs and a clothes horse.
The bathroom has just been totally modernised with new bright tiles, wall & floor, a new walk in shower & a vanity unit with drawers & spot lights & also has a hair dryer.
The apartment is situated in a quiet corner of the complex and the balcony has views of the 2 swimming pools (adult & child) which gets the sun all day long. There is also a kiddies play area with a slide and swings. The complex has a lovely reception area which provides information on local activities, a pool bar, restaurant, mature gardens, internet access, 2 pool tables & laundry facilities.
The apt is cleaned before all guests arrive only and all linen is provided eg duvets & covers, sheets, pillows and towels. If guests are staying for 2 weeks then double linen & towels are provided at the beginning of their stay. We have a travel cot and a buggy in the apt for guests with small children & high chairs & extra beds are available on request.
The complex is close to all amenities, 5 minutes walk to the beach & the New Town/Strip and 2 minute walk to the new "Bios Fera" shopping centre which has three shopping levels. There is a large Spar supermarket across the road and a laundrette/dry cleaners round the corner. There is also a car park outside the front door of the complex where guests can park for free and we are across the road from the only petrol station in Puerto del Carmen.
For all those who love golf we are only a 5 minute drive from the new golf resort.

About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.
For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.

Hi, my name is Triona Kavanagh. I am in my mid thirties & married to James and have 2 sons, Ryan aged 2.5 years and Evan aged 1 year. We live about a mile outside Dublin in the Republic of Ireland.
We did a lot of refurbishments to the apartment after we bought it, in fact we totally updated it. My favourite room would have to be the bathroom. There was originally a bath in there but we took it out as we found guests didn't use baths in Lanzarote and put in a shower and a vanity unit with spot lights and re tiled the whole room in a lovely cream tile. It is a totally different room. I also love the living room as we styled it as cosy as we could so that guests would want to spend time there after a night out or instead of going out and my third favourite area would have to be the balcony, especially at night. There is a great view of the pools which are lit up, we have a palm tree in front of the balcony which gives us a bit of privacy without blocking out any light or views and we have a lovely knome light surrounded by pot plants which adds a bit of colour and light to the area if you want to go out there at night and read a book or a magazine for a bit of peace!

“Just back from a fortnights stay in Ocean Lanzamar and had a fabulous time. Weather was gorgeous and the pool was the perfect place to relax and tan. Only spent one day at the beach as we were harrassed by the numerous "masseurs" begging to massage you so beware. This apt is in a brilliant location and everywhere is easily reached. A taxi from the strip costs approx €3 which saves you trekking back laden with bags of shopping! The apartment only has a 2 ring burner for you to cook on, but to be fair its far cheaper and less hassle to eat out of an evening- the bar downstairs serves a great breakfast and evening meals for a reasonable price if you dont want to stray very far. There is a great welcome for you by Trish and Lizelle when you arrive and after a few days you pretty much know everyone round the complex. Apartment was spotless when we arrived and very comfortable throughout our stay! Triona was great to deal with and made all of the arrangements pronto for us. I would definitely recommend this apartment and will definitely be returning next year!”

“Spent a week end of Aug 09 and had a great time. Apt was spotless and very comfortabley furnished - the fans, both in the lounge and bedroom were brill. Location was great for us as we like the Old Town and this was just a 5 min stroll away - maybe 10 or 15 mins on the way back up l.o.l. Spent most days on beach, the shortcut out the back takes you out at Linikers Bar which was really handy. Didn't use the pool so can't coment although was very clean. Had everything we needed in apt and cooked a few times. Iron and board a Godsend! Would definately want to book this apt again when we go back to Lanza!!!!”

“I stayed in this apartment when my own apartment in the same complex was already booked up. It was a last minute trip to Lanzarote and the owner very kindly let me occupy their apartment at short notice. On arrival I found it spotless and I was very impressed with the few food/drink provisions which the management company had left out for me after a late flight over. At least I could have a cup of tea!! I enjoyed my week here and I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a nice clean comfortable apartment to stay in while in Puerto del Carmen.”

“We really enjoyed our weeks holiday at this apartment in Lanzamar. Our two kids had a great time also. It is very close to the airport which is great when travelling with small children. It is also safe for kids as it is on the first floor so they can't run out the door and into the pools. They loved the play area & the kiddies pool. We loved the view of the lit up pools at night while sitting out on the balcony enjoying a glass of wine. It was very peaceful. The location was excellent within the complex and away from the bar so there was no noise. The shopping is very good with a 3 level shopping centre a few minute walk away. The apartment was very clean and well furnished. We would definitely recommend this apartment.”
