About the property

Newly tiled/refurbished large bright modern 1 bed 1st floor apartment beside the Old Town which can sleep 4/5 people. Brand new kitchen, just recently re tilled, fully equipped with kettle, toaster, microwave/grill oven, double hob, fridge & ice box, iron & board, table & chairs. The bedroom is large & bright with two single beds which can be pushed together to make a double bed, fitted wardrobes, a chest of drawers, a safe & a large fan. Large bright living room with TV & DVD player & a selection of DVD's & a CD player, double sofabed, new furniture, lamps & a large fan. There are patio doors which lead to the newly tiled balcony with table & chairs. The bathroom has just been totally modernised with new bright tiles, a new walk in shower, a vanity unit with drawers & spot lights.

The apartment is situated in a quiet corner of the complex and the balcony has views of the 2 swimming pools (adult & child) which gets the sun all day long. The complex has a lovely reception area which provides information on local activities, a pool bar, a games room, an excellent restaurant with food served til 10pm plus a take away service, mature gardens, internet access, 2 pool tables & laundry facilities.

The apt is cleaned before all guests arrive only and all linen is provided eg duvets, sheets, pillows and towels. If guests are staying for 2 weeks then double linen & towels are provided at the beginning of their stay. High chairs, extra beds or cots are available on request.

It is close to all amenities, 5 minutes walk to the beach and 2 minute walk to the new shopping centre which has three shopping levels. There is a large Spar supermarket across the road and a laundrette/dry cleaners round the corner.

About Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote

About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.

For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.
