About the property
This idylic family complex is just a few minutes walk to Puerto Colon Marina and adjacent beach. In a prime location, Part of Torviscas and san Eugenio. With easy access to bars restaurants and the San Eugenio shopping centre it makes the perfect spot.
Access to the Ocean Park complex is via a secure gated lane, the apartment is about 20m down the lane at pool-level. All the shops, restaurants and bars that you could possibly need are within a very short distance of the complex. The complex also boasts two excellent pools; one facing the bar on Phase I and the other facing the apartment on Phase II. The pools have separate children's areas and there are ample sunbeds round each pool.
The private terrace at the front of the apartment has a secure gate and 6 steps that lead up from the pool area. A matching wrought iron guard-rail runs alongside the steps. The terrace itself is partly shaded by a tree and is a nice place to sit when the sun gets too much. It has an excellent view of the pool so the kids can play in the water while mum and dad keep a watchful eye on them. The terrace is furnished with a table, chairs and parasol. A gate that complements all the other ironwork secures the front of the apartment.
The apartment is tastefully furnished and has every convenience. The timber French doors at the front can be fully opened to provide an open-air feeling. The lounge has a double sofa-bed and a single chair, along with a display unit and matching coffee table. There is also a TV with satalite channels, DVD player, hi-fi, lamps and tower fan. The display unit has cupboards and drawers for extra storage space. DVDs can be hired on site.
The American style kitchen diner is fully equipped and has a microwave, hob, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, toasted sandwich maker and ample cutlery and crockery for 4 people. A dining table and four chairs complete the furnishings. There is also an iron and ironing board and a launderette on the complex.
The fully-tiled bathroom has a full sized bath with an overhead shower and, of course, the toilet and wash basin. The bathroom was completely refurbished in November 2004.
The bedroom has two single beds with nice bright covers. There is plenty of hanging space in the built-in wardrobes, along with drawers and shelves. There is also a sideboard that has additional cupboards and drawers, and a wall mirror. Lamps, a tower fan and a hairdryer complete the bedroom furnishings. A safe has been fitted which is free for our guests to use. There are double doors at the end of the bedroom, which lead onto the rear terrace.
This terrace is accessible from the lane that runs along the side of the complex, and provides wheelchair access. The doors can only be opened from inside so making the apartment nice and secure.

About Playa de las Americas, Tenerife
The start of major tourism began here in the late 1960´s and now it’s brimming with hotels and apartments, bars and restaurants. This area has a reputation of all-year round fun in the sun. The artificial beaches are a haven for sun-worshippers, but they can get very busy at peak times in the year. If you’re looking for an easy holiday without speaking too much Spanish, then Playa de las Americas is for you.
