About the property

1 bedroom duplex apartment on small private complex in the centre of the resort. 10 minute drive from the airport, 5 minutes to the safe sandy beach, 2 minutes to shops, bars and restaurants.

The apartment consists of private furnished patio area which leads into the open plan lounge which has large sofa bed, TV, DVD, CD player with a selection of DVD's and CD's for your enjoyment. The kitchen area has breakfast bar with 4 stools, large fridge, ceramic hob, combi microwave, kettle, toaster and all utensils are supplied.

Stairs lead up to small utility area where you will find washing machine, iron/ironing board. The bathroom has shower cubicle, wash hand basin, wc. The bedroom has double bed, large built-in wardrobe, celing fan, which leads onto furnished balcony.

About Costa Caleta, Fuerteventura

Costa Caleta (formerly known as Caleta de Fuste) thrives on tourism, with lots of accommodation to offer, a fantastic golden sandy beach popular for water sports enthusiasts. The tourist centre of El Castillo (the castle) stands next to the harbour and is well worth a visit.

The town of Caleta is often referred to as a holiday village. The man made beach has been carefully constructed to avoid currents and is in the shape of a horse shoe. This ensures it is perfectly safe for children of all ages. Those wanting to be a little more adventurous can go diving, hire jet skis or learn to windsurf at the water centre on the beach. Costa Caleta harbour is home to many yachts, catamarans and boats which provide local trips as well as providing a beautiful backdrop in the evenings.

There is a multitude of good restaurants in Costa Caleta that can cater for all tastes at very reasonable prices. Steaks and Fish are particularly good, however there are also Chinese, Indian, Greek and English restaurants all within a close area. There are also a number of good supermarkets within the area.

Situated on the east coast of the island, roughly 10km south of the airport and approximately 20 minutes south of Puerto del Rosario. There is a local bus service, which runs every 30 minutes and provides air conditioned coaches for the trip. At 1 Euro (65p) it is an extremely cheap and easy way to get around. Budget car rental in Costa Caleta is available for those wishing to explore the island at their leisure.

Owner's Tips...

Favourite restaurants Fado Rock for steaks, Slow Boat II chinese, Il Patio italian. Blues bar for cocktails. Day trip to Oasis Park zoo or take the ferry to Lanzarote for the day, water park in Corralejo, golf course.
