This stunning and modern seaside villa featured in Which? July 2010 as a "good place to stay". It is located in the traditional Canarian village of Punta Mujeres, just a 15 minutes drive from the holiday resort of Costa Teguise. A perfect base for a self catering, family beach holiday with the luxury of a private villa.

On the ground floor, there is a fully equiped and fitted kitchen and a light and airy open plan living area. The seperate dining room provides a great space for family dining. There is a fully fitted bathroom on the ground floor with a bath with shower, WC and wash basin.
The first floor has a spacious master bedroom with dressing area. The private balcony has views over the swimming pool and stunning sea views. A spacious en suite bathroom has bath/shower, WC and wash basin. There is a further twin bedroom with fitted wardrobes

There is a washing machine and drying area in the basement.

In front of the villa, there is a large front terrace with outdoor dining furniture, sun beds and a barbeque, all overlooking the solar heated pool.

This accommodation is family friendly. There are stairgates fitted on the internal staircases. There is a travel cot and we have also provided children’s toys, a high chair, microwave, hand blender, bath mat and plastic plates/cutlery/cups, anything else you require for your little ones please ask!

The villa is a mid terrace property in a small private complex of just six houses, next to the solar heated pool and is fully equipped for your holiday needs, all linen & house towels are provided and beach/pool towels are avaiable if required.

We provide a basic welcome pack on arrival with a bottle of wine, water, crisps, milk, tea and coffee.

There is also a neighbouring property within the complex also available for holiday lets this is ideal for 2 families to rent on the same small complex but stay independently.

To reserve your holiday, a deposit of 30% of the total cost is required. The outstanding balance is due 1 month before arrival. Payment can be made by credit card or by bank transfer.

Owner's Tips

Punta Mujeres is located in the North of Lanzarote and has the beauty of being a traditional Canarian fishing village. You will however find all the amenities needed whilst on holiday such as excellent restaurants, local supermarkets and bakery. The small sea front tapas bars give you a chance to try the local wine and Canarian food such as papas arrugadas (potatoes), gambas al ajillo (prawns) and the local mojo sauce!
There are also a number of unusual natural sea pools in the village, which allow you to swim in the sea without any waves. The pools are tidal and have easy access so they are great for children and elderly guests.

If you follow the coast for just a five minute walk from the villa, you will stumble across the pebble horseshoe bay in which is wonderful for snorkelling, fishing and bathing.

The neighbouring village of Arrieta, just a 5 minute drive away, boasts one of the best beaches on the island. With an excellent tapas beach bar and restaurant, toilets and shower facilities, this is the perfect place to spend a day in the sunshine. Enjoy the unusual black sands and the scenic mountain landscape of rural Lanzarote in this stunning location.

Punta Mujeres is a great base from which to explore the island, particularly the north, with the Jameos del Agua, Cactus Garden, Mirador del Rio, Green Caves and the Valley of a Thousand Palms being only 10 minutes drive away.

About us
Lanzarote Retreats.com is a family run business which has been growing fast since summer 2007. Lanzarote Retreats is the creation of Tila and Michelle Braddock who wanted to offer a rural type accommodation mainly in and around Arrieta in the North of the Island where they live and love.

Arrieta is a traditional Lanzarote fishing village, a hidden jewel on the island, mainly un-discovered by tourists. It boasts wonderful sea front restaurants, quaint historic buildings and has a great beach for families, with a beach bar, play park and it is often great for body boarding and surfing.

They strive to offer you a personal service when booking and during your holiday in Lanzarote, as Tila and Michelle live at Finca de Arrieta they are always at hand for any information or help during your stay. Tila and Michelle are helped by Sarah who is based in their Costa Teguise office.

What we love about our business
Tila and Michelle have lived on Lanzarote for over 20 years and have bought up their 4 children here and been involved in Island life. The Lonely Planet guide book for the Canary Islands (4th Edition page 133 and 139) interviewed Tila and Michelle regarding Lanzarote and they feature along with Finca De Arrieta in the "Local Voices"section. They clearly love the island and therefore sharing it with those visiting the island through their holiday rental business.
