Our apartment is in a prime location with easy access to bars restaurants and the San Eugenio shopping centre. The complex boasts two swimming pools with a sun terrace and pool bar both have separate children's areas and there are ample sun beds round each pool, on some ocassions you can have the pool area to yourself.
Offering a friendly welcome in tasteful surroundings, Ocean Park would suit couples and families. It is only a 10 minute walk to the beach and Puerto Colon Marina with a pedestrian walkway to take you directly there. These modern, well equipped apartments are surprisingly quiet once inside. The complex is about 10 years old and is kept to a very high standard. There is a mix of resident and holiday apartments, meaning everywhere is clean, quiet and tidy.
All shops, restaurants and bars that you could possibly need are within a very short distance of the complex. .
The large terrace at the front of our apartment is in the sun most of the day and is furnished with a table, chairs and a parasol for shade to cool off now and again.
The apartment is tastefully furnished and has every convenience. The timber French doors at the front can be fully opened to provide an open-air feeling. The lounge has a new 2 seat settee + 3 seat settee, along with cupboards and cane coffee tables. There is also a TV, DVD player, C.D/ radio player,and ceiling fan.
The newly refurbished kitchen/diner (June 2006) is fully equipped and has a microwave, hob, toaster, kettle, toasted sandwich maker and ample cutlery and crockery for 4 people, also a breakfast bar with stools under an iron and ironing board is also provided.
The fully tiled bathroom (refurbished Oct 06) has a full sized bath with an overhead shower, vanity unit with lighting to full size mirror, toilet and wash basin.
The bedroom has two single beds, all bedding is good quality dorma, plenty of hanging space in the built-in wardrobes, along with drawers and shelves. There is also a sideboard with drawer’s bed side lamp and ceiling fan and even a hairdryer, this completes the bedroom furnishings. A safe has been fitted which is free for our guests to use.
I can also arrange for transport from the airport to the apartment if required.

The start of major tourism began here in the late 1960's and Playa de las Americas is now brimming with hotels and apartments, bars and restaurants. This area has a reputation of all-year round fun in the sun. The artificial beaches are a haven for sun-worshippers and can get very busy at peak times in the year. If you are looking for an easy holiday with lots of entertainment on hand, Playa de las Americas is for you.
There is a launderette on-site (in Phase 2) and a supermarket adjoining the complex.
The Admiral bar, run by Chris & Mike, is on Phase 1 and serves good food at reasonable prices. The bar is also the place to have a quite drink on the evening and a chat with locals and other holiday makers. You have also got Soul City bar run by Bill & Lorraine for quiet drinks on the trerrace 2 mins from appartment with good food served throughout the day. Also recommended is Popins bar run by Derek and Anna good food available all day, serving a well recommened Sunday Lunch, It is situated down the slope at side of Hotel and left at the bottom opposite Lapinta Beach club.
The newly opened Gran Sur shopping centre with many bars,shops, super market and a cinema with english films is a must to visit either by taxi or 10 min walk.
Other bars and restaurants inTorviscas are within a very short walk of the apartment and the San Eugenio Shopping Centre is about 250m along the main road. This has a variety of shops and a large underground supermarket selling fresh fish daily.
An excellent water park with dolphin show is within 10 min walk.
Splash into Siam Park within walking distance, once inside the Thai-style gates its impossible not to feel overcome with glee. Which path to take? What to go on first? The park opened in September 2008 with great attraction rides. hours of fun gauaranteed.
We have actually been with the family and what a great day we had, remember to take plenty of sun cream or wear a t/shirt, the beach and the wave pool are just fantastic.(www.siampark.net)
Head towards the beach (about 10 minutes) and you can enjoy the sunset while you eat your evening meal in one of the many restaurants overlooking the beach.
After that perhaps you could sample a liqueur coffee on the beach bars of Fanabe. If you fancy going further a field, buses and taxis are plentiful and reasonably priced; for instance, a bus to Los Cristianos is about 1.5 - 2.0 euros each. Purchase a BONO card from the local shops 12 euro and receive a discount on all bus journeys, well worth it. A taxi will be more economical if there are more than two of you.

“Stayed in this apartment for a week over Easter, highly recommended, lovely apartment on small complex, two pools to choose from and the couple who run The Admiral Bar on site are lovely, very friendly. Excellent location, close to everything you could possibly want. Short transfer of about 15 minutes from the airport. Would return without hestitation, although we did experience a little music noise from the Soul City Bar closeby but that certainly wouldn't stop is returning and this matter has been taken up by the owner directly with the bar so has been addressed satisfactorily. Recommended.”

“hello to everyone my name is pat i just want to say that myself and my husband dave has stayed in this appartment on several occasions the place is fab .we love tenerife and it helps when u have somewhere lovely to stay 4 a couple of weeks its very private and very secure u also feel very safe the people are very friendly we have booked to go in july 4 two weeks and we booked 4 two more weeks in november.their is plenty to do there is the new siam park which is a great park and we highly recomend you visit there is plenty of bars resurants . the beach is only a few minutes away and its lovely the appartment has everything u need also there is plenty of entertainment”
