An exclusive location with beautiful coastline and great facilities including shopping, sports, a castle and great restaurants. Antoniet's in the town is a family run concern, and has been since the 1960's, offering superb Spanish cuisine. Another well known fine restaurant offering mediterranean cuisine is Le Dauphin, in a stunning setting overlooking the bay of El Portet.
Being off the main coast road it doesn't suffer the crowding of some resorts - Moraira has a reputation for beautiful property and an air of exclusivity.
There is a wide selection of well priced properties in Moraira available for holiday lettings. For those wishing to explore the area, or drive to the numerous golf courses, car hire in Moraira is very reasonable.
"Wedged between forest-clad hills and Blue Flag beaches, this welcoming, picture-postcard resort is friendly, fun and made for a family sun-and-sand holiday."
Tucked between Javea and Calpe, pretty Moraira is a huddle of sugar-white buildings wedged into a picturesque sandy bay. Take a closer look and you’ll see the town has a few tourist trimmings, with a gleaming marina, smart new waterfront and smattering of modern plazas. Yet beneath this spruced-up exterior, Moraira remains traditionally Spanish, with a romantic, central cobbled square and pace of life that’s still distinctly unrushed. Here, sitting at an outdoor café, it won’t take long to shrug off those 21st century stresses and let the Spanish way take over. If you need something to help you along, grab your swimming togs and park yourself on one of the town’s four appealing sandy beaches. Just a few minutes’ lounging and swimming at these Blue Flag beauty spots are sure to get you in a full-on, holiday frame of mind. When you’ve had your fill, stroll along the seafront to see the golden-stone watchtower overlooking the waves. Built in the 18th century, it’s a fascinating reminder of when the area was targeted by marauding Barbary pirates. Luckily, the pirate ships are now replaced by sleek yachts and boat trips ferrying holidaymakers to local resorts – Calpe or Alicante anyone? Talking of days out, there’s much to entice you away from Moraira. Travel to the cliff top fortress at Guadalest, play golf or hotfoot it to nearby Vergal Safari Park. Alternatively, drive into the pine forests framing the town and feel your heart lift at the wonderful views. Back at base, feast on the day’s catch at a harbour side fish restaurant and finish with a nightcap overlooking the beach, the whispering waves providing your own private lullaby. Lots to see and do in this very pretty and lush part of Spain, with blue flag beaches. Lots of shops, bars & restaurants.
Lots of activities including cycling, diving, fishing, golf, horse riding, jetbikes, mountain biking, mountaineering, sailing, swimming, tennis, ten pin bowling, walking, water skiing, water park, wind-surfing, zoo. Or just relax by the pool, sunny private roof terrace or on the beach with a long cool drink!

“We've just returned from our 10th stay at the Villa Mimosa apartment. We keep returning because it's so very comfortable, well equipped and we love the delightful views of the Med, the Penon d'Ifach and the Bernia mountains. It's particularly lovely sitting on the terrace either enjoying a meal or relaxing with a glass or two. If the sun gets too hot and you'd like some shade just wind out the awning. If you enjoy a dip there is a heated pool and guests are welcome to use it and to stretch out on the sunloungers on the pool terrace.
The villa over which the apartment is situated is in a well established, peaceful area yet within 10 minutes, by car, you can be in either Calpe or Moraira with their many restaurants, boutiques etc.
Nigel and Jenny are friendly, helpful hosts and not only is a generous welcome pack provided to get you started but you will also find in the kitchen cupboards all the "bits and pieces" you might need in the first few days.
Your hosts maintain a high standard of decoration both inside and out and, this year, Jenny who is well known for her artistic flair, has replaced the bedroom and living room curtains with a lovely, sunny, golden yellow material which seems so right for the apartment.
Wer hope you enjoy your stay at Villa Mimosa as much as we always do.”

“September 2009
We could not praise this holiday property enough. This was our third visit and was just as good as our previous visits. The wellcome package provided was excellent, including a bottle of very good wine. Situated midway between Calpe & Moraira, you are only a short drive from dozens of restaurants and bars and the nearest beach is just at the bottom of the road. The views of the hills and sea from the roof terrace are magnificent. It is also very quiet and peacefull and ideal for just relaxing and doing nothing. The pool is excellent, and like the gardens spotlessly clean. Jenny & Nige are excellent hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. We have found a real gem here and we will be visiting Villa Mimosa again next year and probably quite a few more times in the future. Definately a five star place.
Chris & Marianne”
