About El Olivo

Superb modern villa on the edge of the National Park with spectacular views over the island, mountains and sea.

The villa has two wonderful sun terraces and its own private pool which is heated from December through to April. Lovely spacious rooms and uninterrupted views possibly the best on the island. Centrally situated, only a short drive from Puerto del Carmen with its lovely sandy beaches and restaurants and shops. A car is essential and will allow you to explore this wonderful and exciting island. The villa is laid out over three storeys, set into the mountainside and is quiet being in a residential area, yet being in the centre of the island gives you easy access to the South and North of the island. The villa has a beautiful designer Italian kitchen, two double beds and one twin bedded room. There is also a sofa bed in the living room for extra guests if needed.

For those of you who love golf, there is a wonderful course at Puerto del Carmen or a bit further away is the course at Costa Tequise half an hours drive away.

A car is essential and can be arranged at no extra charge, no deposit for car rental. Parties with young children must make sure they are supervised in the pool and on the top terraces for safety. Perfect setting for a really peaceful holiday, but close enough to all tourist attractions.

Please note occupation is after 2.00 p.m. on arrival day (unless previously arranged with the owners) and please vacate the villa by 10.00 a.m. on your departure day (unless previously arranged with the owners.

About Conil, Lanzarote

Nestling in the hills behind Tias, Conil is a perfect example of the traditional Canarian village. While quiet and rural, it is in easy reach of shops, restaurants and the beaches of Puerto del Carmen. The village has a supermarket, 2 local tapas bars and an international restaurant. The larger town of Tias is a few minutes drive and the main shopping centres of Carmen are just 15 minutes away. Perfect for a relaxing holiday in a tranquil setting, without being isolated.

Owner's Tips

There are some lovely local restaurants in Tias, and a bakery. Visit the Timanfaya National Park an absolute must, El Golfo, Cactus Garden, Cueves los Verdes, and investigate the wonderful island of La Graciosa, ferry from Orzola, a wonderful day out. Lanzarote also offers wonderful Scuba Diving and you can organise this at Puerto Calero, even if you are a beginner, there are courses for you to take.

“A great villa with amazing views. We booked for one week in January and were not disappointed. The private pool is lovely & warm with an electrically operated cover. The views from the pool over the resort and sea below are breathtaking. The location of the villa is great with a lovely Spanish village called Tias only 3 minutes drive away. Tias is very “Spanish” and gives you a real feeling of authenticity. Tias has some small shops a great bakery and the best Tapas bar on Island which we found through Tripadvisor. The main resort is only a little further down the hill & the Marina is very close by with great restaurants and shops. All the fittings and fixtures in the villa are of a high quality with flat screen T.V and marble basins and worktops. You also get a number of different terrace on different levels to sunbathe on. The taxis are very cheap in the evening and had no problems getting around. We drove round and looked at the other Villas in the area for rent and none of them were a patch on Olivo. I cannot recommend it enough and we will definitely be going back thank you.”

“It was our first time in Lanzarote, and we enjoyed it a lot! El Olivo was one of the reasons.
It is set perfectly in the middle of the island, near everything by car. And we highly appreciated the rural setting, with not too many neighbours around the house.
The view is absolutely amazing, we spend a lot of time by the pool relaxing and absorbing the spectacular landscape.

The only thing we missed were a few outdoor furniture except the sun beds, but the owners have informed me that it is on its way!”
