A beautifully furnished linked apartment (133 sq.m) situated on the prestigious San Jacinto complex, with communal pool, in a quiet location. Ideally located for the beach, shops, restaurants, golf course, water park and touring the island.

The apartment has a spacious lounge and dining area with patio doors leading onto a fully furnished terrace which has sea views and is excellent for sunbathing. The lounge has a Flat Screen 32" Sony TV with SKY TV (Basic Package), DVD player, CD/tape player and radio, X-Box original with one console and a Bose iPod player/charger and many many books. There are three large bedrooms, 1 double with en-suite and two twins. For families a travel cot is available. There is a good sized bathroom with full sized bath & shower overhead, toilet, bidet, sink. The en-suite has a toilet, sink and shower.

The fully equipped kitchen comprises of a full size fridge/freezer, full size electric oven, grill and hob, microwave, toaster, iron, ironing board, etc. The adjoining utility room includes a washing machine and drying area.

Bath & beach towels and hairdryers are provided. Also a basic welcome pack is provided with tea, coffee, bottled water, sugar, milk, biscuits, wine, condiments, etc, ideal for those late arrivals. There is one designated car parking space. Wheelchair accessible.

About Costa Teguise, Lanzarote

Costa Teguise is one of the main tourist resorts on the island, with big luxury hotels and apartments where architecture and landscape have been harmoniously integrated. As well as the main beach of Las Cucharas there are many other waterfront areas to choose from.

If sport is your thing then Costa Teguise is well worth a visit. With several diving centres, a golf course and bicycle hire shops all at arms length you can't go far wrong. For families, Ocean Water Park is based just 2km inland from Costa Teguise which boasts water slides, flumes and heated swimming pools. Open daily from 10am – 6pm.

There are many restaurants in Costa Teguise where the locals welcome those with children, don't be surprised if they are given sweets at the end of a meal!

Owner's Tips

Costa Teguise is one of the main tourist resorts on the island, with big 4* 5* hotels and apartments where architecture and landscape have been harmoniously integrated. It is a family friendly resort with excellent facilities. In Pueblo Marinero (the main square) there is a lovely market from 5pm to 10pm every Friday night where local artists sell their arts and crafts. Also in the Square there are some lovely restaurants and seating areas where you can sit and soak up the atmosphere. The pharmacy, doctor and dentist clinic is a 5 min walk from the apartment and the staff speak good english.

A new playground has opened on Calle de la Laguna (2 minute walk from the apartment). It caters for children from 6 months to 10 years (two separate areas). There are also exercise machines for the Mums and Dads.

As well as the main beach of Las Cucharas there are four other beaches to choose from. It is the premier location on Lanzarote for windsurfing. Windsurfing hire shops and windsurfing schools are located on Playa de Las Cucharas. Costa Teguise's 18 hole, 72 Par. golf course is a 5 min drive. You can rent clubs, trolleys and cars, take lessons, use the driving range or putting greens, visit the pro shop or simply have something to eat/drink in their bar / restaurant. The aqua park is well worth a visit and is situated beside the golf course. It is open from 10 am to 6 pm daily. All water sports are catered for including diving, windsurfing, sailing and deep sea fishing. Costa Teguise is centrally located for exploring the island.

We would recommend that you hire a car while you are here as there is so much to see and car hire is very cheap. Go to Famara Beach (west side) for surfing or take a walk on the beach. Bring a picnic/water with you as there are no facilities on the beach. For dining with a difference enjoy a meal cooked over the volcano in El Diablo Restaurante on top of the Timanfaya Volcano in the National Park where you will also learn about the history of the island. Visit the winegrowing area of La Geria and sample some of the excellent wines of Lanzarote in one of the bodegas. Rancho Texas Theme Park provides both daytime and evening entertainment for both young and old alike. The main market is held on Sunday mornings in the town of Teguise (10 minute drive). Book your flight early especially for school holiday periods. My greatest love when in Lanzarote is the restaurant’s attitude to children, I do not think I have ever been in a restaurant that has not catered for and genuinely enjoyed having children there. For the adults, there is plenty of night life.

I am married with two young boys. We started going to Lanzarote in 1996 and fell in love with it immediately.

What we love about our property
We try to visit San Jacinto as often as possible. Our family and extended family love the space it offers. Because it is our family home, it has all the facilities for families. The apartment is within walking distance to all amenities. It is in a small complex in a residential area. The area is safe and peaceful.
