Description About the property

The villa comes fully equipped, including a private pool with terrace, alfesco dining area, all set within beautiful gardens behind volcanic drystone walls that are so typical of Lanzarote. More than just a holiday rental villa, it is used by the owners themselves through the winter months, so is more of a home-from-home.

Beautifully furnished throughout with marble floors. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 with ensuite bathroom, and a separate shower-room/WC with walk-in shower. High domed ceilings and marble floors keep the villa cool even in the hot summer weeks and the wooden shutters allow free passage of the traditional cooling Lanzarote breezes.

There is satellite TV for your entertainment which has the full Sky package with Movies and Sports, as well as a DVD player and a library of DVDs and books. A fully fitted modern kitchen has everything you would expect in your own home. Patio doors lead from the lounge to the large southfacing terraces which surround the electrically heated swimming pool. Both the villa and the pool are set within a tranquil garden full of palms and other Canarian plants. Finally, there is also a large tradititional stone Canarian barbecue, and a covered ‘alfresco’ dining area with a fantastic solid oak dining table. For spacious luxury accommodation with a real homely touch, this is the perfect holiday villa.

From Casa Holanda it is a 5 minute walk to the west coast of the island, and only 5 minutes’ drive to the centre of Playa Blanca, and the beaches of Playa Flamingo and Playa Dorada. Faro Park itself has a supermarket, cafes, bars and restaurants within a 3 minute walk of the villa. Playa Blanca is situated on the south coast of the island and has the best of the weather and sunshine, particularly in the southwest corner where Faro Park is situated. It has been tastefully developed and is close to some spectacular beaches, within easy reach of the villa by car. There is also a stunning new marina with boutiques, cafes and restaurants. All in all, a magnificent place to have the holiday you've dreamt of!

Playa Blanca summary About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote

Playa Blanca

Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.

The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.

There is an excellent golf course at Costa Teguise, which is open to visitors.

Wheelchair access: as wheelchair widths vary, you may need to know that the doorways in the villa are 73 centimetres wide.
