Residencial Gaudia is a brand new select complex with landscaped gardens, swimming pool and tennis courts. Gaudia is a fully gated community giving peace of mind to families with young children.

Situated in a very quite area of Calete du Fuste, but close to all amenities this luxury top floor apartment, overlooking the pool is fully furnished to an extremely high standard and consists of spacious lounge, 2 double bedrooms, fully fitted kitchen, bathroom and large balcony, which attracts the sun all day.

The beautifully furnished lounge comes complete with an L shaped sofa, 28" widescreen TV, CD/MP3 player, Playstation 2, electronic ceiling fans, dimmer switches and 2 patio doors leading onto the balcony.

The modern fully fitted kitchen has an integral oven, hob, microwave and washing machine. An iron, ironing board, breakfast bar and all kitchen utensils are all supplied.

Both stylish double bedrooms contain fully fitted double wardrobes, electronic ceiling fans, drawer units, dimmer switches, hairdryer, safe deposit box and patio doors that lead on to the balcony which has a patio table and chairs.

Extras such as a fold up bed, highchairs, cots, welcome packs, car hire or airport collection can all easily be arranged.

About Costa Caleta, Fuerteventura

Costa Caleta (formerly known as Caleta de Fuste) thrives on tourism, with lots of accommodation to offer, a fantastic golden sandy beach popular for water sports enthusiasts. The tourist centre of El Castillo (the castle) stands next to the harbour and is well worth a visit.

The town of Caleta is often referred to as a holiday village. The man made beach has been carefully constructed to avoid currents and is in the shape of a horse shoe. This ensures it is perfectly safe for children of all ages. Those wanting to be a little more adventurous can go diving, hire jet skis or learn to windsurf at the water centre on the beach. Costa Caleta harbour is home to many yachts, catamarans and boats which provide local trips as well as providing a beautiful backdrop in the evenings.

There is a multitude of good restaurants in Costa Caleta that can cater for all tastes at very reasonable prices. Steaks and Fish are particularly good, however there are also Chinese, Indian, Greek and English restaurants all within a close area. There are also a number of good supermarkets within the area.

Situated on the east coast of the island, roughly 10km south of the airport and approximately 20 minutes south of Puerto del Rosario. There is a local bus service, which runs every 30 minutes and provides air conditioned coaches for the trip. At 1 Euro (65p) it is an extremely cheap and easy way to get around. Budget car rental in Costa Caleta is available for those wishing to explore the island at their leisure.

Owner's Tips...

The airport is only a 10 minute drive and costs approx 9€.

The apartment is not only less than 5 minutes walk to the beautiful horseshoe shaped beach but also to the stunning 18 hole par 71 golf course which was home to the Spanish Open in 2004.

There are a vast choice of restaurants all within a couple of minutes walk.
