About the property
Villa Rhodantha is a recently built two bedroom property that is personally owned by us. Situated in a private walled garden complete with heated swimming pool and a south facing terrace, the property is ideal for those seeking a private and peaceful holiday experience. Villa Rhodantha is located on the highly regarded residential Parque del Rey development, which despite offering peace and quiet is only about 15 minutes walking distance to the centre of Playa Blanca and a further 5 minutes to the nearest beach.
The villa is furnished and equipped to the highest standards to ensure a comfortable home from home holiday experience. The semi detached property incorporates a living room with two and three seater setees, a stereo radio cd system, an LCD television, DVD player and a SKY satellite system incorporating some 70 TV channels (UK SKY subscription Family Pack) along with a selection of radio stations. In the dining room there is another three seater settee and a table and chairs for four persons (should one not desire eating al fresco). There is a large double bedroom and a twin bedroom, along with a good sized luxurious family bathroom. The beautiful fitted kitchen incorporates a dish washer, washing machine, microwave oven and a large fridge freezer. All the utensils and items that you are likely to need are provided.
A complimentary welcome pack is provided for all guests on arrival.
There is a computer available for hire with internet availability via ADSL modem. The weekly rate for the computer is 30 euros and the internet connection is 20 euros. A 100 euros refundable damage deposit is also payable for this facility on arrival.
For those guests with babies and toddlers, a travel cot and high chair are provided.
Outside around the pool area, there is a table with chairs and parasol umbrella along with sun loungers. There is also a barbeque provided for those warm sultry evenings.

About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote
Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.
The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.

Playa Blanca offers a good selection of high quality restaurants ranging from traditional Canarian dishes through to Chinese restaurants. From our own experiences we would have no hesitation with recommending the following :-
Romantica for traditional Canarian food. Sun City for excellent quality Chinese food. Casa Pedro for fresh 'catch of the day fish'.
H10 Rubicon Palace hotel for excellent good value buffet style meals (serving to non residents at time of writing)
For those who wish to conserve their energy and do not fancy the idea of walking back from town, a taxi can be hired for a reasonable 3 Euros (from Playa Blanca town centre to Villa Rhodantha).
Beach lovers are spoilt for choice in Playa Blanca , and we would have no hesitation recommending the beautiful Papagayo, Playa Dorada and Playa Flamingo beaches.
