The sheer cliffs of “The Giants” attract scores of visitors every year and the views are some of the most spectacular on the island. This area remains one of the few calmer holiday destinations, which is quite rare on Tenerife. However the town of Puerto de Santiago, which lies South of Los Gigantes is more developed and relies heavily upon tourism.
Our visitors book , says it all! You ask we provide ! Guess its the air-conditioning that makes a difference then!
Our international visitors just keep surprising us.. Bagdad,Jordan,Beirut,Vancouver, Sweden, Zambia, Australia, France, Belgium, Holland, and finally a Canadian soldier from "Helmand Province in Afghanistan" ( his parents flew from Vancouver) to meet and share a holiday in our apartment!
A comprehensive growing visitor information book is kept in the apartment highlighting everything that is available in and around the island. Lots of critiques of wonderful inexpensive local restaurants within a short walk.
We also have arranged discounts with local car hire companies and an excellent reliable (cheaper than the airport taxis) courier type taxi service contact who provides superb arrival/greet no matter what time your plane arrives. It's hard not to feel important when you see your name on his sign waiting for you as you come through the arrivals door.No detours to other resorts along the way mean you are whisked away to Gigantes in about 40 minutes with excellent well maintained vehicles and safe drivers! If you've been before youll know the airport drivers tend to be Khamakhazi, Sun Holidays drivers are super safe!
Home is here, we spend a huge amount of time in Los Gigantes / Eventually plan to spend over 6 months a year here.
What we love about our property
We fell in love with Gigantes in 1992, its peaceful, sleepy, village feel (and it still is) was such a contrast to Los Cristianos where we used to holiday. We stayed in this property in 2004 so a year later when the Holiday Property Bond sold their 12 apartments in this complex chose the best top floor penthouse , overlooking the courtyard palms, quiet, with great views, away from the road, bars and cafes on the seafront and best of all no furniture or footfall above.
We set about fitting it out & furnishing to live their year round. Our first priority was full air-conditioning to use the penthouse year round, even in the heights of the summer.
The top floor location, spacious design and very Spanish appeal gives Balcony sun from 3 each day till sunset being elevated you have cool sea breezes when all around are baking! Its also great to slip into the underground car park and then get the lift to your front door.

“We said we would go back and we did!! Went again in September this year and had another wonderful stay. Everything written about apartment 405 is true, its a home from home and we cannot recommend it enough. The whole town of Los Gigantes is welcoming, we haven't got a bad thing to say about any of the restaurants in town, there is something for everyone and all on your doorstep. Cardiac Hill is not that bad once you have done it once or twice and in any case just turn round and look at the view! Roll on 2013 as we are going back!”
Owner's response: Thank you both , we continue to add stuff to make it "A Home away" kind regards joe and marilyn

“We have stayed on the Island at a number of differnt places for over 10 years now but recently we found Joe and Marilyn's properties. We have stayed at apartment 405 twice now and have to say that this apartment is outstanding for its views, comfort and equipment. Joe and Marilyn are great people to book with. They are helpful and are willing to accomodate reasonable requests. Gail, the on site manager, is a lovely helpful lady. My wife had a birthday out there this year and was sent a bottle of bubbly by Joe and Marilyn accompanied by a rendition of "Happy Birthday" by Gail in the lounge!! This is "The" place to stay on the Island and we intend to go again and again. Please do not book a holiday there as we want it to ourselves!!!”
Always nice to hear from returners , glad you had all you need
see you again

“We stayed in Appt 324 for 9 days over Easter 2012. Overall a great place to stay with a good view over the harbour. The apartment is a good size for a family of four with everything required for a comfortable stay. It's location is excellent with the beach 2 mins walk to the right. Great waves for the children to play in (one aged 8 and the other 11). El Laguillo pool is 2 mins to the left. We used the free pool passes almost every day. It was was very quiet once the Easter weekend had passed, with usually only a dozen or less people there so almost felt like our own pool.We ate out most days. The cheese burgers at Cafe Austria were melt in the mouth and the best we'd ever tasted. Pizzas from Anchor (on the corner) were also very good as were the tapas at the very end of the harbour (I think named Antonio's?). We hired a car to visit the north of the island, where it rained for the whole day but didn't dampen our spirits. We also ventured up Mount Teide, best to get up early to avoid the queues and coach tours. We arrived just after opening and walked straight through to the cable car and journey to the top. The queues were much bigger an hour later as we returned to the bottom. We also ventured to Siam Park water park and had a great day despite not being natural water babies. We'd thoroughly recommend the accommodation and if the opportunity arises may well return!. Many thanks for a great holiday!
Owner's response: Thanks you glad you had a great time ,

“The apartment was very clean & tidy. Everything was there that u needed. You even had a welcome pack of tea, coffee etc, the little essentials that you need. There were towels provided, even a beach bag with sun hats. Washing machine, telly, all that you would have in your own home.
The views from the balcony were amazing, you could sit out there for hours.
We would go back again and again.
Thank you for making everything so relaxing and easy.”
