Description About the property

Harbour complex, (see photograph) On the harbour not at the top of Cardiac Hill!, free private garage parking(with lift), fully air-conditioned, gorgeous marina based beautiful top floor penthouse apartments, each around 100 square metres (with lift) to secure parking in basement.

Clear panoramic Views OVER the harbour to the Atlantic Ocean, Cliffs and Islands,(not looking at the harbour wall)

Penthouse, the apartment is on the top floor and has stunning views across the Atlantic ocean from the huge cliffs of Los Gigantes on the right to the harbour and the Island of La Gomera. It is set back from the harbour restaurants and is very peaceful. Therefore no traffic noise or smell from seafront bars and cafes.

Next to the apartment complex you have a small black/silver sand beach 1 min away and two beautiful pools for a small charge, we have negotiated special prices for you at The Oasis complex nearby. Families prefer this.

Very highly specified to a superior standard the apartments have everything for your comfort at no extra charge, fully air conditioned, light and airy, well furnished with comfortable quality furniture. Each has 2 spacious bedrooms 1 double, 1 twin with full wardrobes. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge which would sleep 2 (comfy but we don't recommend it for 2 adults). The main bathroom has a bath/shower, handbasin and toilet. The second half bathroom has a handbasin and toilet.

The kitchen is well equipped with fridge freezer, electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, blender, toaster, kettle, scales, comprehensive crockery, glassware, kitchen cutlery, dishes, pots and s/steel pans, tools and utensils. The adjacent utility area has a supplementary water heater and a washing machine plus you also have an iron and 2 hair dryers!

The open plan lounge and dining area has a table for six and is well appointed. They are equipped with Sky satellite TV (UK channels), DVD/video, a selection of around 150 videos and DVD's, full air-conditioning in each room and an electronic safe.

If you run your own business and cannot bear to be out of touch then it is worthy of note that one of our apartments even has a telephone and wi-fi/ethernet broadband, please take your own computer, (ethernet cable provided) but we do ask you to pay for what you use in our honesty box. Clean linen is provided once a week. The balconies have dining furniture for al-fresco and indoor meals plus sun-loungers for your comfort

Free private secure parking for your apartment. There is an allocated secure private car parking space for our apartment in the secure basement garage complex accessed by remote control.

There are lifts from the private parking up to our floor.

Please.... Care and Consideration of our home away..
We let our apartments on the clear understanding that you treat them with care and respect, if you break something please tell us before you leave and cover the cost, naturally we do not allow "teenagers or odd groups" to use them , that way the apartment remains special and peaceful and we can all enjoy the difference.

Just bring your clothes, there is almost everything you could need with the exception of personal beach towels and of course sun tan creams!

Cots, high chairs, and extra foldaway beds are available and they can be hired from our local Manageress.

The basic welcome pack is complimentary just to get you started if you arrive late, however different welcome packs with a variety of items are available on request special wine, champagne, flowers, chocolates are available if required for a small charge.

All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£) and are based on 2 people sharing.

Prices are year round , but excluding peaks of Christmas /new year periods, always call or e-mail for prices at this time. Still much cheaper than a caravan in Talacre or anywhere in the UK.

Whilst we will always try to accommodate late bookings please do try to plan ahead as we do get booked up well in advance for peak times. In fact we are busier than ever with second and third time returners so please try to plan ahead!

We are flexible about lengths of stay and even about arrival/departure days too, your flights constitute the biggest cost of your holiday so if you find flights before or after your " core holiday time" why not call us to see if you can have 8,9,10,11,12, whatever days etc. The "On Cost" for the apartment is pro rata per day so the "relative cost for the extra time away is small" if at all, you may even save enough on your Off Peak flights to pay for the extra days , you choose ! we will always try to accommodate your needs, remember 2000 miles each way for 7 days is barely/rarely enough when your in Los Gigantes! You'll see what we mean when you arrive

A minimum rental charge applies for 7 days or less. A deposit of £100 for each booked week/required within 14 days of booking to secure your dates. Balance payment due 8 weeks before your departure. Extra days please contact us.

If you do not take out insurance you could lose your holiday and your money paid, we urge you to take out insurance, try the post office at the time of booking. We can not be held responsible should your ability to complete your holiday be impacted by matters beyond our control.

Always contact us before booking your flights. N.B. Booking calendar, we do not fully maintain the booking availability part of this website. If it is in Yellow it means one of our apartments is booked but the other Penthouse may be free so always call or e-mail to check , we reply very promptly and can always pass you on to our local manageress if we cannot help you. We would hate to disappoint you so always call us first, thank you.

Los Gigantes summary About Los Gigantes, Tenerife

The sheer cliffs of “The Giants” attract scores of visitors every year and the views are some of the most spectacular on the island. This area remains one of the few calmer holiday destinations, which is quite rare on Tenerife. However the town of Puerto de Santiago, which lies South of Los Gigantes is more developed and relies heavily upon tourism.

Recommendations Owner's Tips...

Just read our visitors book , it says it all! Note how many people re book with us (one came back three times last year ! 2007). Another lady had two weeks last year and booked at full month the day she came back! Guess we must be doing something right!

Our international visitors just keep surprising us , Vancouver, Sweden, Zambia, France, Belgium, Holland, and finally a Canadian soldier from "Helmand Province in Afghanistan" ( his parents flew from Vancouver) to meet and share a holiday in our apartment!

A comprehensive growing visitor information book is kept in the apartment highlighting everything that is available in and around the island. Lots of critiques of wonderful in-expensive local restaurants within a short walk.

We also have arranged discounts with local car hire companies and an excellent super reliable (cheaper than the airport taxis) courier type taxi service contact who provides superb arrival/greet no matter what time your plane arrives. It's hard not to feel important when you see your name on his sign waiting for you as you come through the arrivals door.
