About the property

Residential 'El Patio' is a 2 bedroom apartment with roof terrace and south facing balcony from the lounge and the main bedroom. We are situated on the edge of Algorfa village with stunning views of Mount Callosa in the Heart of the Segura Region, surrounded by orange and lemon groves. This area makes it the perfect spot for peace and tranquillity. We are in a gated courtyard with swimming pool, waterfall, and shrubs. With lifts that take you from the underground car park straight to the apartment.

We have tried to provide everything for your comfort whilst on vacation, including hot and cold air-conditioning. We also have CCTV visitor entrance system in the hallway.

The apartment is easily accessible for wheelchairs, although not for the roof terrace. There are marble floors throughout. The kitchen is the very best you will find with granite surfaces and stainless steel oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and ceramic hob. It offers you everything you will need to prepare a meal to enjoy, no worries about finding the right utensils. We hope we have thought of everything. A separate utility room even gives you the opportunity to close the door on the 'dreaded wash'. There is no gas in this property.

We hope there is everything for your entertainment with satellite TV 'no missing your favourite soap' or reality show. DVD and CD players with lots of movies, CD's, books, games, and magazines.We have kept children in mind so there are movies for children as well.

Patio doors take you onto the large balcony/terrace from the bedroom and the lounge, this is overlooking the pool. It is fully equipped with table and rattan chairs were you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast before going to the beach, or dine in the evening before hitting the town. The best thing is we are South facing so get all the SUN!!

The main bedroom has a double bed, bedside tables, lamps, pine wardrobe, pine dressing table and stool and hairdryer. The second bedroom offers twin beds with wrought iron headboards to match main bedroom, pine wardrobe, bedside table and lamp to match,wrought iron unit with Seagrass baskets, and a hairdryer. There is also a travel cot in case baby comes too. There is some baby bedding but not a lot, maybe you will be able to bring a personal baby blanket. I know we only have one family bathroom, but there is also a separate guest toilet with washbasin.

The roof terrace has everything for all, including large table, 6 chairs , sunloungers, a very large parasol, gas BBQ, freezer box. The roof terrace is not accessible for wheelchairs.

Views of the mountains, and orange and lemon groves are there for you to enjoy on a warm sunny evening.

Holiday rental prices

All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£) and are based on 6 people sharing.

There is no restriction as to the time available to arrive or depart. The day of arrival and departure are kept open.

4 day weekend rentals £100 (£25:00 per night)

45€uro paid locally on arrival to include clean towels, clean linen, and cleaning on departure.
If necessary maid will clean midweek and change bedding for an additional 20 euro

£80 or 100€ security/breakage, returnable deposit.

About Algorfa, Costa Blanca

Situated some 30 minutes from Alicante airport, Algorfa is a top destination for golf lovers, with many new courses only a short drive away. There are numerous beaches close by, many of which have the blue-flag rating, La Mata and Guardamar are particular favourites. Algorfa enjoys a typically Mediterranean climate and the region boasts many citrus groves, including orange and lemon as well as olive trees.

Owner's Tips...

Algorfa is home to the new La Finca golf course (www.golflafinca.com),which is actually 2 minutes drive away. The course was designed by Jose Gancedo and enjoys 300 days of sunshine a year. It has been designed to host many top tournaments, and has several lakes running through the course, with olive and palm trees, this creates a beautiful Mediterranean flavour. It is bookable with an e-mail to caddie@golflafinca.com. There are also many other golf courses in the area for your enjoyment. 5 marina's and 2 water parks. One of the water parks is at Rojales which is a 5 minute drive away. There is opportunities for cycling, fishing, and many other sports. There is within walking distance from the apartment an open air swimming pool which costs 1 euro for adults and 50 cents for children there are also tennis courts, football and a childrens play area. This area has a walkway which will take you to La Finca Golf course.

The village is typically Spanish, there are many shops selling local produce, butcher, baker, newsagents, pharmacy, beauty salon/gym florist, banks, post office, tapas bars, restaurants and the local bodega were you can sample the wine before buying. Right next door to us we have the Alquibla restaurant and La Ermita just 5 minutes walk away where I recommend you try La Ermita huevos for starters.[different]. Lots of new restaurants have opened including The Vestry and SanRemo. Markets are held in every town and village on every day of the week. July and August all the villages including Algorfa host the most fantastic festivals, with floats, dancers, music and fireworks. Something not to be missed.

The beautiful old town of Guadamar is just 15 minutes away and has the best beaches, great restaurants, tapas bars, shops, and ice cream parlours. The historic town of Orihuela is a short drive away, we have never seen so many palm trees in one area, except in Elche which is another beautiful city The very famous La Manga takes less than an hour to reach: Villamartin has a lovely plaza with excellant restaurants, particularly 'Eduardo's. Not far away is Benijofa and Benimar were there are lots of restaurants. Of course if you are in the mood for Shopping the City of Alicante is 25 minutes away.
What a fabulous city particularly the old town and the Esplanade.
This coast line of 21 miles of glorious sandy beaches offers so much for everyone to have a fantastic holiday. 'Enjoy'.

There is an internet shop across from 'El Patio' which is very cheap to use.
