OH YEAH!!! WE'RE BACK
Situated in the resort of Caleta De Fuste, the apartment is at the far end of the Las Arenas De Castillo complex away from the road and other passing residents. Everything is walkable and in easy reach , the center, the beaches etc .But two streets back you will sleep sound as you would never know you were so close to the center!
Set on two floors with two bedrooms and bathrooms and a separate upper WC!! It is also now FULLY REDECORATED AND REFURBED!! the apartment can easily accommodate four adults in comfort, the master bedroom now boasts a brand new memory foam divan bed, whilst the downstairs twin beds ( with ensuite) are perfect for another couple or larger kids or adults. The living area now boasts a brand new corner sofa bed too on the same level as the master, perfect for a couple of littlies. A cot / high chair can be arranged with a bit of notice also. So there you go 4 adults and 2 kids...... too easy !!
The MAIN floor comprises the living / dining area, and also the kitchen, bathroom (with shower and bath), master bedroom (with digital safe & double memory foam divan bed , no more prisoner cell block H!) and a separate, adjacent WC and bidet. Whilst downstairs leads to another double bedroom (this time with twin beds) overlooking the patio area, and an en-suite WC, basin and bidet.
To the rear of the apartment there is allocated covered, shaded parking .To the front your own south facing, private balcony and tiled terrace overlooking, but not on top of communal pool, patio........ Again nice n peaceful.
The living area now boasts a 32 " USB capable LCD TV ( plug in your own device!). DVD, SAT TV, ( DVD movies and playstation with games arriving in May 2012). The kitchen now boasts a washing machine, full size fridge freezer , oven with ceramic hob , microwave, kettle and toaster and IS equipped for six (All new crockery, cutlery , pots n pans etc...even salt n pepper shakers)! New, quality, management ensures no more disappointment over missing bowls, sharing mugs etc. No one else on las arenas can offer this! It DOES make a big difference to your stay so choose carefully)!
In the Master bedroom you'll find a digital safe ( PYO code) for your valuables, an iron with board. There is also a portable stairgate stored in the downstairs wardrobe. And smoke detectors ( that actually work...amazing!) both upstairs and down with a fire extinguisher adjacent the kitchen.
At the risk of repeating myself , the apartment is fully managed by a local, capable and friendly english couple in case you encounter any problems during your stay . For a small fee they will even meet you on arrival at the apartment and " show you the ropes", tell you the best places to eat / go and more importantly where to avoid. Far better ( and cheaper in the end) to find a great place on the first night than pay over the odds all week till you find it on the last. Get your stay off to a great start! Know when n where the happy hours are as soon as you arrive ...pays for itself !....... If you are an old hand there are electronic security gates and a keysafe adjacent the apartment, we give you the codes... let yourself in/out, great for late arrivals / departures! The complex itself is also under British management, we are in direct contact with both on a daily basis . I Cannot stress enough how important this is to the enjoyment of your stay.
Management includes cleaning before and after your stay, and the provision of ample linen and towels, we would respectfully request that guests supply their own beach towels.
please feel free to contact us any time, thank you Paul and Jane.

Costa Caleta (formerly known as Caleta de Fuste) thrives on tourism, with lots of accommodation to offer, a fantastic golden sandy beach popular for water sports enthusiasts. The tourist centre of El Castillo (the castle) stands next to the harbour and is well worth a visit.
The town of Caleta is often referred to as a holiday village. In the last few years they have done a lot of work with the beaches so as well as the huge horseshoe shaped beach, they have also created three beautiful sheltered 'lagoons' just a couple of hundred yards away - they form a pair of giant stone arms reaching out into the ocean but not quite meeting in the middle. This means that the beautifully clean Atlantic ocean refreshes the lagoons constantly, tiny fish dart amongst your toes and it feels like a lovely safe place to bathe. These are therefore also great for swimming and paddling with the children and somehow you feel incredibly bouyant - like the Dead Sea - you can just float as though sitting in an armchair. The beaches are thick soft sand (actually better than the large one) and don't get crowded either. As part of the giant 'arms' there is also a wooden boardwalk with a lovely cafe at the end on a stone island. This is a fantastic spot for a drink, meal or ice cream as you are actually 'in' the ocean with a gorgeous view back to the little town and a lovely breeze coming off the multi hued sea - truly fabulous on a hot day.
There is a multitude of good restaurants in Costa Caleta that can cater for all tastes at very reasonable prices. Steaks and Fish are particularly good, however there are also Chinese, Indian, Greek and English restaurants all within a close area. There are also a number of good supermarkets within the area.
Situated on the east coast of the island, roughly 10km south of the airport and approximately 20 minutes south of Puerto del Rosario. There is a local bus service, which runs every 30 minutes and provides air conditioned coaches for the trip. At 1 Euro (65p) it is an extremely cheap and easy way to get around. Budget car rental in Costa Caleta is available for those wishing to explore the island at their leisure.

10 minutes taxi ride from airport.
1 min from sea, 5 mins stroll to safest sheltered beach on the island, ideal for kiddies!!
Great peaceful location , but lots of lively, or relaxing bars and restaurants only 200 m away.
Everything is walkable, no need for a car!!
20 minutes on foot to new 18 hole golf course . 15 mins to Bowling alley/cinema complex etc, also cheap groceries at the eurospar..make your hire car pay for itself and fill that large fridge freezer! no more daily shopping ...hurrah!
About us
Hi, we are Paul, Jane and Rhys. We currently live near Perth, Western Australia after emigrating from the UK in November 2008. The thing we miss most about moving to Australia is being able to pop over to Fuerteventura 3 or 4 times a year for a nice relaxing break!
Even though we live in Australia we keep in regular contact with our housekeeper to ensure that our guests have the best holiday they can. We have handpicked our representatives on the island and they are the best!
What we love about our property
We have two properties on Fuerteventura, one in Corralejo (Palm Springs) and one in Caleta (Las Arenas).
We love the Palm Springs complex because it is small and compact and therefore quiet. It is close enough to all the amenities to make your holiday special, and yet it is far enough away from the raucous night life to allow a good night's sleep after your evening out!
We are 'beach bums' and the apartment has several beaches nearby to suit most tastes. Paul is a windsurfer and the proximity to Flag Beach was one of the main reasons for us purchasing our apartment.
The Las Arenas complex is a larger complex with some local residents. We love the Caleta property for it's closeness to all the tourist amenities that Caleta has to offer. Caleta is a purpose built tourist resort and has plenty to keep you busy and occupied throughout your holiday. It is also a great position for a base when planning to really explore the island as it is pretty much at the centre of the eastern coast.
Year we bought the property: 2004

“Lovely, uncrowded complex. Quiet at night and only a 5min stroll to restaurants, bars and the beautiful coastal path/beach. Friendly residents and guests. Cleaners left the communal grounds spotless and the pool was lovely. Forget sharing it with others however, we saw one person in it during our stay!
Inside, facilities are clean and perfectly adequate for any guest. Really appreciated the selection of DVD's available for a cosy night in. Overall, we'd be happy to return in a heartbeat.
Thank you”
Owner's response: Thank you for taking the time to review our apartment and let others know how you got on. So pleased you had a good stay and the pool to yourselves!

“We stayed in B20 Las Arenas from 26th Feb to 5th March 2013 and were delighted with our accommodation. This apartment is in a very clean well maintained complex which is only 3-4 minutes from all the great restaurants (Nestors, El Patio & Fado Rock) and a 5 minute walk to the beach. It was great that the twin bedroom downstairs had an en-suite, and upstairs the double bedroom was either side of a seperate toilet and bathroom. The apartment was equiped for 6 guests (kitchen utensils etc) and more important all the "beds" were really comfortable which is essential when you need a good rest. Paul the owner organised with Linda (property manager) new sunbeds which we secured every night in the patio area. This apartment was a great "find" which we would highly recommend for a holiday in Fuerteventura”

“We stayed at B20 Las Arenas from the 26th Feb to 5th March 2013 and had a really enjoyable holiday. The apartment is in a very clean well kept complex, and is only 3-4 minutes walk from all the great restaurants (Nestors, El Patio, Fado Rock) and a 5 minute walk that will take you to the beach. The apartment is well maintained and has all the utensils for 6 guests. More important all the "beds" were really comfortable which is essential when you need a good rest. It was great that the twin bedroom downstairs had an en-suite and upstairs a separate toilet from the bathroom. It was wonderful to have our own sunbeds which Paul and Linda organised for us which we secured every night in the patio area. Overall this apartment was a great "find" whichI would strongly recommend for a holiday in Fuerteventura.”

“We had a wonderful week at Las Arenas. The apartment is big and newly repainted with new curtains etc. A perfect stay for our family, the 2 teenagers had one bedroom and toilet downstairs. The complex is calm and the poolarea has sun the whole day, also the terrace of the apartment was sunny most of the day.
Steve and Jane where very friendly and gave us a map and information when we arrived, so we knew we could call them if we´ve had any problem.
There was many nice restaurants i Calete, we enjoyed Fado rock and El Patio.”
