Set in large well tended and mature gardens, this quiet complex of apartments occupies a unique position directly on the sandy beach of los pocillos in Puerto del Carmen. All the apartments enjoy a very pleasant setting amongst the beautiful gardens, and many have spectacular beach and sea views.

The apartments are particularly spacious and have 2 bedrooms with twin or double beds, the choice is yours and two bathrooms, only one has a bath, the other a shower. All are south facing and have balconies with patio table and chairs. All the apartments have a fully fitted modern electric kitchen with full oven, microwave, electric hob, electric kettle, toaster, and refrigerator. There is satellite TV, an iron and ironing board and you can also rent a safe.

The complex has a beautiful secluded, heated swimming pool, set within a walled garden well supplied with umbrellas and sun loungers. All amenities are within a very short walk. Thanks to their prime central position these apartments are extremely popular and early booking is advisable.

About Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote

About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.

For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.

Owner's Tips

Puerto del Carmen is a combination of traditional and modern. Originally a quaint fishing harbour and village, the town has developed into a very attractive modern resort along the south facing bays of the Los Fariones, Pocillos and Matagorda beaches.

As with the rest of Lanzarote, great care has been taken in planning the architecture and landscape. The result is a beautiful promenade stretching the length of the three bays lined with palm trees and the colourful tropical flowers are a main feature.

The beautiful sandy beaches and clear blue water are ideal for sunbathing and swimming all year round. Puerto del Carmen is highly recommended as safe and suitable for young and old alike. The protected southerly situation shelters it from the prevailing winds on the North and East side of the island. The old fishing village has retained the harbour atmosphere and is an excellent place to sample the local fish restaurants and local shops which are only a short distance from all our properties. When the sun goes down, the beachfront livens up and there is a great selection of good quality restaurants, bars and discos later on.
