The largest, most exclusive villa on the golf course if not Caleta de Fuste. This is pure luxury. Situated in the most prime location, Villa Alexander is an executive standard property with the highest quality furniture and fittings. Located within the golf course and yet only 600m from the beach, shopping facilities and restaurants.

Accommodation includes full air-conditioning, large heated private pool and decked area, top table footy game, jacuzzi bath, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, Satalite TV, Playstation 2 with games, Free Wirelss LAN, DVD, wood flooring, cot and high chair, sterlizer. There are fantastic views of the beautiful 5* Golf course and across several holes of the course, both from ground floor and from the roof terrace.

Towels and beach towels are provided. Linen and towels changed once a week.

We dont' offer lower prices for groups of less that 4 because of the large size of this villa. But we are happy to take smaller parties who want the extra space. Or refer you to our sister property Angelina on the same golf complex, also with its own private pool.

About Costa Caleta, Fuerteventura

Costa Caleta (formerly known as Caleta de Fuste) thrives on tourism, with lots of accommodation to offer, a fantastic golden sandy beach popular for water sports enthusiasts. The tourist centre of El Castillo (the castle) stands next to the harbour and is well worth a visit.

The town of Caleta is often referred to as a holiday village. In the last few years they have done a lot of work with the beaches so as well as the huge horseshoe shaped beach, they have also created three beautiful sheltered 'lagoons' just a couple of hundred yards away - they form a pair of giant stone arms reaching out into the ocean but not quite meeting in the middle. This means that the beautifully clean Atlantic ocean refreshes the lagoons constantly, tiny fish dart amongst your toes and it feels like a lovely safe place to bathe. These are therefore also great for swimming and paddling with the children and somehow you feel incredibly bouyant - like the Dead Sea - you can just float as though sitting in an armchair. The beaches are thick soft sand (actually better than the large one) and don't get crowded either. As part of the giant 'arms' there is also a wooden boardwalk with a lovely cafe at the end on a stone island. This is a fantastic spot for a drink, meal or ice cream as you are actually 'in' the ocean with a gorgeous view back to the little town and a lovely breeze coming off the multi hued sea - truly fabulous on a hot day.

There is a multitude of good restaurants in Costa Caleta that can cater for all tastes at very reasonable prices. Steaks and Fish are particularly good, however there are also Chinese, Indian, Greek and English restaurants all within a close area. There are also a number of good supermarkets within the area.

Situated on the east coast of the island, roughly 10km south of the airport and approximately 20 minutes south of Puerto del Rosario. There is a local bus service, which runs every 30 minutes and provides air conditioned coaches for the trip. At 1 Euro (65p) it is an extremely cheap and easy way to get around. Budget car rental in Costa Caleta is available for those wishing to explore the island at their leisure.

The villa is on the Spanish 2004 open golf course with another very good course right next door. We can arrange your golf and taxi hire and other packages - see our website for details.

Arrival and departure normally by noon, but late checkout can be arrange if available. Call us and we'll call you back to save your expense.

About us
Glen and Helen own 2 properties in the Fuerteventura Golf Course complex in Caleta de Fuste. We first visited the island in 2004 and made our first purchase then. We liked the area so much we purchased Villa Alexander in 2006. We have been the sole owners of both properties.

We have steadily grown our bookings over the time we've owned the properties and have very few weeks free now each year. This is due to good customer service and putting the right things in the properties without charging extras. Our prices are also very keen!

What we love about our property
We strived to find the best properties in the two locations of the golf course in which we own. In La Colina where we own villa Angelina, we bought the only front row property left, which had great views of the sea and harbour. Not only this but because it was the south side of the duplex it gets the sun all day- which is very imortant. Additionally it had the largest garden area of any of the La Colina properties, which we used to include a private heated pool. So views, sun and heated pool- no other property on La Colina has these three!

Villa Alexander is of 10 of the largest villas in the complex. Its built over 1 and a half plot sizes. We found other 3 bedroom villas and 4 bedroom villas simply too small in the rooms. So we opted for the best. We were the first to choose a plot in the Descanso area so we believe we chose not only the best plot by size and orientation of the villa, but by views of the golf course and best hours of sunlight. We were the first to install 'no-mow' grass on Fuerteventura, let alone the golf course, which provides a safe and hygenic play area for toddlers. We pride ourselves on adding items to the properties which we feel clients will want to use time and again. There's a great table football table of high quality build which shows the standards we've strived to attain, which you can see in all the furnishings of our properties.
