This beautiful penthouse is set on the 5th floor, with lift, of a private enclosed holiday complex set in lovely manicured gardens within a few minutes walk of the beach. An exceptionally large private terrace offers truly amazing sea views towards the mountains of North Africa and Gibraltar.
The complex itself has a lovely large swimming pool and a childrens' swimming pool in the garden and on Crown Resorts side, there is another swimming pool and a childrens paddling pool. There are toilets in the gardens, as well as in the Crown Resorts side, together with an aviary and a gym. In high season a poolside snack bar is open and you can play Mini-Golf, or a game of Pool. Crown Resorts have recently installed an astro-turfed area for playing Football or Basket Ball, for younger children there is a play area with climbing frames slides etc. You could not ask for better family facilities all within walking distance of your own front door.
The penthouse has two bedrooms, The Master Bedroom has two large single beds and the second Bedroom has twin beds and there is a sofa bed in the lounge. There is a main bathroom and second shower room. Linen and towels are provided but guests are asked to bring their own beach towels.
The large comfortably furnished lounge is equipped with a 32" flat screen satellite TV showing the basic BBC channels and there is also a DVD/CD Player. The patio doors of the lounge lead out onto the huge terrace, with sunbeds, umbrellas, and barbecue, which overlooks the sea as well as the beautiful gardens and pool.
The American style kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, hob, fridge, freezer and microwave and a separate utility room houses the washing machine, iron and ironing board.
A trip to the nearest supermarket is within a five minute walk as are bars, restaurants, a taxi rank, and the bus service into Marbella and Fuengirola.
Whether you are looking for night life or a relaxing family holiday with plenty to keep the kids busy, this holiday complex has something for everyone. We have a welcome pack of coffee, tea, milk, sugar and water so you can chill out on arrival..

A deposit of £250 is required to secure the booking and when sending the balance eight weeks before arrival a further £250 is required which will be returned after checking apartment for damage or breakables, any damage will be deducted from this money and the rest will be returned to you. No more than six people sharing.
Not to be confused with Mijas the little village located inland on the Costa del Sol, Mijas Costa is on the coast. Many English people have moved to this area and there are many housing developments that reflect this. With this being the case holiday rentals are extremely popular. The Riviera del Sol Mijas Costa is a real winner with families.
The beach at La Cala is very safe and they offer many watersports including water-skiing and Jet Ski hire. This area is also famous for it’s golf courses, they are some of the best in the world and were designed by top players.

“We arrived mid October to glorious sunshine. Dennis & Lynn's appartment was like a home from home, every facility was there to suit our needs. We enjoyed the pool areas set in beautiful well maintained gardens. The views from the terrace were very pleasing, especially watching the sunset with a glass of wine. Dennis and Lynn were extremely helpful advising the best restaurants to go to. We had a very relaxing week and enjoyed our family time very much, we would like to thank Dennis & Lynn for being such caring and on hands hosts. We would highly recommend their appartment.”
Owner's response: A lovely family of three, they made the most of all the facilities on offer and had a lovely holiday here, fortunately the weather was perfect for them and when they left they had thoroughly cleaned the Penthouse all the way through, we couldn't have cleaned it any better ourselves, we would definitely have them stay again, they are an ideal family to have as guests.

“We have just come back from a holiday at the penthouse belonging to Lynn and Dennis Banks at Riviera del Sol and would say that it is the best apartment we have ever stayed in - it was just like home from home - such a personal touch and spotlessly clean.
Also Lynn and Dennis welcomed you to the apartment when you arrive and also provided milk, water, tea bags, sugar etc, which was very good when you arrive late at night. I would not hesitate in recommending this apartment to anyone.”

A very nice couple who really appreciated the apartment, especially as Julie came down with a cold.
They made the most of their stay here and Derek said he had had the best nights sleep, in our new bed, than he had ever had before. I would definitely let them stay again as they left the Penthouse spotlessly clean, it only took us three hours to clean up as opposed to the normal 6 hours.

“Had a superb week in late September, fantastic weather made us appreciate the superb sun terrace, totally private. The apartment was spotless and the English tv was a bonus. Only downside was the very busy main road, although the accomodation was set back somewhat, it was a distraction during the night. Having said that, we will definitely return sooner than later!”
Owner's response: This couple arrived really stressed out, by the time they were leaving they said they had had a lovely holiday and had chilled out completely. Unfortunately, if you want to be right near the sea then you have to put up with the coast road which goes from Nerja all the way to Gibralter. You can't escape it. But they are a very nice couple and kept the Penthouse nice and clean and watered the plants on the Terrace for us. I have just received a deposit from them for a week in May 2010. So the rest of the Penthouse and Large Terrace more than made up for it. Also, they could have slept in the second bedroom which faces onto the gardens.
