About the property

Situated in a quiet, desirable, central, residential area, but within easy walking distance of the sea front, beach, bars, clubs, restaurants, casino and shops - the villa also has views of the sea!

The villa is an upside down house – the bedrooms stay cooler. There is 1 double bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms, all with built in wardrobes. The villa was built in 1985 and so benefits from older architecture and charm whilst being modern in facilities. It was completely refurbished in 2005/2006 and has all modern conveniences. All the floors and bathrooms have been retiled throughout, and the kitchen has a granite worksurface with bar servery through to the lounge area.

The lounge has patio doors which open out onto the covered balcony which has magnificent panoramic views across the sea to Fuerteventura, and to one side the bay sweeps round to a mountain range.

The balcony is equipped with table and chairs, and with its sea views, makes for the perfect setting for drinks in the evening, prior to going out for a meal at one of the many restaurants.

About Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote

About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.

For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.

Owner's Tips...

The Old Harbour area for its lovely setting and fine restaurants, is a short taxi ride away. Lanzarote has numerous places of interest to visit many inspired by the local artist Cesare Manrique.

Whilst the villa is in a quiet residential street, the beach, bars, clubs, restaurants and shops on the promenade are a five minute stroll away.
