About Villa Mateo
Villa Mateo is privately owned and maintained with a private electrically heated pool in its own walled grounds. Set in a tranquil location offering the perfect get away and yet only minutes away for the centre of Playa Blanca.
The villa has a lounge, kitchen, spacious bathroom and large master bedroom with ample wardrobe space. Below are details of the facilities provided in the villa.
Situated on El Parque del Rey, Villa Mateo is a 10 minute walk to the harbour and just a further 5 minutes to the main shopping street with three supermarkets.
Maid service is once per week with an additional towel change mid week. Poolside towels are included as well as bathroom towels.
A complimentary welcome pack is provided of tea/coffee, mineral water and a bottle of wine.

About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote
Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.
The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.
Owner's Tips
Close by is the beautiful Playa Flamingo beach with Playa Dorada a short ride away.
Enjoy shopping and a meal at the fabulous new Marina Rubicon. Try snorkelling and sheltered swimming in the natural harbours of the Papagayo National Reserve.
While car hire is not essential we would recommend that you consider hiring a car to take advantage of all the Island has to offer.

About us
Hi I’m Andrew and the property belongs to me. I live on Lanzarote with a sun loving West Highland Terrier called Sally. A good part of my time is spent ensuring that our place is kept to highest standards both inside and out. The only way I can ensure my standards are met is to do it myself.
We love the island and everything it has to offer and I am thrilled when other people are introduced to Lanzarote through booking our property. It’s even more rewarding when those people come back to us year after year. I am more than happy to share my knowledge of the island having lived here for years and many of our guests have been surprised at just how much more there is besides glorious sunshine and beautiful beaches.

Our place is perfect to relax in the sun, especially for couples.

“We stayed here in June....can't fault anything with our stay at Villa Mateo...Very clean & tidy. Great sized pool which we spent every day in due to the beautiful weather....has everything you need (a home from home) Only a short walk to the beach and the many shops and restaraunts...highly reccomend 'grille de timanfaya' restaraunt on the sea front..very friendly staff and superb quality food for your money.
We are definately hoping to return here again....and again.....and again :-)”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. An ideal villa for 2. Owners were very friendly and helpful. It was so good to have the heated pool available and the bbq. The resort was pleasant with many good restaurants. Highly recommend Casa Pedro, Almacen de Sal and Charental.”
