About San Fransisco 2

We have two fully refurbished front line apartments with extended balconies, sunbeds, table and chairs and fantastic sea views over the new marina and across to Fuerteventura.

They have two single beds, kitchen area with cooker and all necessary cutlery and crockery provided. Satellite television, DVD player, microwave oven, safe, patio table, chairs and lounger.

A welcome pack of tea, coffee and water is provided.

It is also recommended to bring binoculars so that you can get a closer look at the activity on the sea from the apartment balconies as you will see Cruise liners, yachts, dolphins and sometimes even whales!

Bookings will be confirmed when your flight details and airline booking ref no is given.
NB The availability calender shows when both apartments are booked.

There is a minimum charge of £100 for bookings of less than one week.

NB. Even if the dates you want are shown as booked you can send an enquiry as we can probably find alternative accommodation with good sea views in the same complex.

About Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote

About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.

For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.

Owner's Tips

Visit the marina restaurants and pubs at night where there is plenty of entertainment and good inexpensive food.

Trips in glassbottom boats and a ferry service accross to Fuerteventura is also available. All watersports are catered for just a few minutes walk away.

If you like walking then the the cliff walk to Puerto Calero is a must just for the fantastic views.

About us
My wife and I moved from England to Ireland in 1997 where we lived in Cork city and had a large house converted to apartments. These we ran successfully until 2004 when we sold them and bought a villa in Ametlla de Mar Spain, which is about 100 miles south of Barcelona.

We had holidayed in Lanzarote for a number of years and liked the island better than the others in the Canaries as it is not over built with high rise hotels and apartment blocks. We particularly liked the Old Town area of Puerto del Carmen as it is always busy and there are lots of good restaurants and bars to visit.

When we found two apartments for sale on the complex we had stayed at close to the marina and Old Town we jumped at the chance to buy them in 2005.

What we love about our property
What we most like about the apartments is the fantastic views you have over the sea to Fuerteventura and the constant activity on the sea and in the marina.

We have had the balconies extended which means you can eat out alfresco and sunbathe all day as they face south and enjoy all day sun.

Thier closeness to the Old Town means you do not have to have a car to get to restuarants and shops as they are all within a few minutes walk.

If you like walking then the cliff walk to Puerto Calero is a must just for the views alone.

“Great location and complex felt clean, safe and private. Accomodation had reasonable extras like small flat screen TV & DVD, radio and safety deposit box although the decor was slightly worn and dated. Good value overall, great views and really close to harbour area and overall would recommend it. First time in PDC and plan to return especially as we enjoyed surfing with Paul (Lavasurf) and we felt that the resort had something for everyone.”

“just got back from room 503 at san francisco 11- cannot fault the studio- great views accross to old town harbour and can see fuertaventura- fantastic weather and great location..
only slight moan is, they allow on site locals who then seem to take over the pool area and very loud and take up sunbeds which should be for paying guest, this really anoyed us, this is a private complex yet this happened almost every afternoon... also saving of sunbed from 8.00am in the morning is silly so you have to get up really too early to go down and get a sunbed, i hate saving subeds so i was sat out around 8.30- 9.00am way to early so i could even get a sunbed.. this is well beyond acceptable- we went on the beach in the end- which is only about 20 minute walk..
i would still recommend the apartment as you cannot beat it for location- clean and great views. but i would think twice about booking again as the other issues can be avoided and not really what you want when you come away to relax..
the people that clean the appartment and look after the complex are great - and all work really hard. the pool bar is great and will accommodate anythng you like....
all in all great holiday and the new walk way to the old town is fantastic- food great as normal and will be back in lanzarote in july and september.... xx”

“Stayed in this apartment for two weeks and it was amazing. Beds were really comfy and has the most amazing view of the complex and straight over the harbour and the sea. Your can even see fuertoventura from the balcony which looks beautiful at night. The apartment is well set out with all mod cons would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in an amzing complex and beautiful room.”

“Fantastic view of the sea, huge balcony which was perfect for private sunbathing. The accommodation is basic but it has everything you need - having the DVD player was great! The complex was very friendly and quiet, with a SPAR supermarket right outside the gates. I had a fabulous holiday and got a great tan. :-)”
