About the property

Lovely 3 bed villa furnished to a high standard including all the latest mod cons expected in a first class holiday home. Just a 10 minute drive from the airport. The villa is in a quiet location on the prestigious Fuerteventura golf resort very close to Caleta de Fuste and enjoys fabulous views across the golf course to the sea beyond. The beaches of Caleta are within easy distance, as are a large selection of shops and restaurants.

The villa has three twin bedded rooms although two of the rooms can be made up to king size doubles by prior arrangement. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and fans. 2 fulled tiled bath/shower rooms.

The fully fitted kitchen has all the comforts of home including 4 ring hob, oven, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, iron and board. There is a utility area leading off the kitchen which is perfect for storing beach equipmet etc.

The lovely open plan living/dining area with seating for 6 guests has large double doors opening onto the sunny terrace.

The villa is approached via double gates and there is ample parking outside. The house has a large terrace with BBQ and furniture perfect for al fresco dining and is situated on a large plot with beautifully landscaped secure and private gardens.

Cot, high chair &milk sterilisers etc can be hired via prior arrangement.

All towels and linen included in the price. Weekly maid service. Welcome packs are available and celebration cakes etc can be provided for that special occasion.

About Costa Caleta, Fuerteventura

Costa Caleta (formerly known as Caleta de Fuste) thrives on tourism, with lots of accommodation to offer, a fantastic golden sandy beach popular for water sports enthusiasts. The tourist centre of El Castillo (the castle) stands next to the harbour and is well worth a visit.

The town of Caleta is often referred to as a holiday village. The man made beach has been carefully constructed to avoid currents and is in the shape of a horse shoe. This ensures it is perfectly safe for children of all ages. Those wanting to be a little more adventurous can go diving, hire jet skis or learn to windsurf at the water centre on the beach. Costa Caleta harbour is home to many yachts, catamarans and boats which provide local trips as well as providing a beautiful backdrop in the evenings.

There is a multitude of good restaurants in Costa Caleta that can cater for all tastes at very reasonable prices. Steaks and Fish are particularly good, however there are also Chinese, Indian, Greek and English restaurants all within a close area. There are also a number of good supermarkets within the area.

Situated on the east coast of the island, roughly 10km south of the airport and approximately 20 minutes south of Puerto del Rosario. There is a local bus service, which runs every 30 minutes and provides air conditioned coaches for the trip. At 1 Euro (65p) it is an extremely cheap and easy way to get around. Budget car rental in Costa Caleta is available for those wishing to explore the island at their leisure.

Owner's Tips...

Caleta de Fuste is a lovely family resort. Very safe horseshoe shaped sandy beach, ideal for young children. Watersports are available at the bustling marina, including water skiing, fishing, boat hire etc. Dolphins are often sighted further out to sea so a boat trip from the marina is highly recommended.

There are a number of excellent bars and restaurants in the town, and a visitors book at the house provides details of those we recommend. Nightlife in the town is generally low key (no late night clubs etc). Good quality family entertainment can be found in the hotels.

The house is adjacent to the golf course, which was home to the Spanish Open Championship in 2004. Green fees at the Golf club are currently in the region of £40 per 18 holes, although discount applies for 9 holes. Tee times can be booked in advance. The Golf Club is located in the 5* Elba Palace Golf Hotel and guests at the villa may avail themselves of many of the facilities in the hotel - bars, restaurants, gym (fee payable), tennis (fee payable).

Further afield, we recommend a trip to the dunes at Corralejo, the beaches on the Southern tip of the island at Jandia, the zoo at Lajares, go-karting, etc. An Island Guide at the villa provides details of all these and more.
