Description About the property

Isla Canela is the ideal location for a relaxed holiday in the Spanish sun. In a beautiful penthouse, 10 metres from a beach to die for, 5 minutes from your own 18 hole golf course, 10 minutes from the beautiful Spanish town of Ayamonte and 20 minutes from Portugal!

The accommodation is a 3 bedroomed penthouse, sleeping 6. One bedroom has an en-suite with bath and shower. The other bedrooms share a bathroom with bath and shower.

The apartment is equipped with every modern convenience to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. From a TV, DVD and music system for your enjoyment, to fridge freezer, washing machine, , toaster, microwave, iron and ironing table for your convenience. We even supply a large selection of games, books, CDs and DVDs for your entertainment.

But the crowning glory for this apartment is the terrace, which is actually larger than the apartment! This means that you have a magnificent view to the sea and have the sun all day long. The terrace has three main areas - a pergola area with a small table and chairs where perhaps you will want to take the early morning sun as you sip your coffee. This area has both sun awning and side wind protectors so is perfect to sit and relax in. The second area is the dining area which again has sun awning and side wind protectors and has a dining table and 6 chairs, where you will dine in the evening and watch the spectacular Isla Canela sunsets. The final area is for sunbathing and is supplied with loungers and a parasol for those of you who are sun worshippers. Of course, there is also the pool to laze around, and the beach to die for, with no road to cross to gain access.

For those of you who would prefer some activity, there are the tennis courts and paddle courts which are free for you to use. We also supply rackets and tennis balls. For the golf players amongst you, whilst you use the apartment you are automatically a member of the Isla Canela Golf Resort Club and are entitled to discounted green fees. There are 7 other courses in Spain and Portugal within 30 minutes drive. The apartment has its own basement parking space so there is only a 5 metre walk to the lift, straight to your penthouse apartment!

Isla Canela summary About Isla Canela, Costa de la Luz

Sitting neatly in the southwestern corner of the Huelva province is Isla Canela. This is one of the most popular resorts along this stretch of coastline, both with English and Spanish holidaymakers. Whilst it can be busy, it’s not to be compared with some of the other livelier resorts.

The local fishermen are in the waters daily catching tuna and sardines, which by the end of the day are served in many of the waterfront restaurants. However before indulging in some culinary delights, you may wish to relax on the wide, sandy beach and watch the world go by. Alternatively there are golf courses in the area if you choose to improve your handicap.

Recommendations Owner's Tips...

Isla Canela is a quiet resort, with a mix of Spanish, Italian, French, Australian and British restaurants and bars. There is no night life to speak of and hence it is not suitable for those looking for the typical costa holiday.
