About Playa Bastian
The apartment is a ground floor, 1 bedroom apartment that sleeps up to 4 people. Completely re-decorated to a high standard with modern bathroom, kitchen, furniture etc.
The accommodation comprises of a lounge with two large comfortable sofas, 1 converts into a double bed, large double sideboard for loads of storage space, coffee table, satellite TV with English channels so you can keep up with the soaps!, DVD/CD player, and radio. Dining area with oblong table and four chairs. Kitchen with fridge, microwave, ceramic 4 ring hob, oven, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and juicer. There is Wi-Fi available in the apartment if you wish to take a lap top (please request access code before you travel if you require wi-fi).
Bathroom with walk in fully tiled shower area, toilet and vanity unit. We also provide a hairdrier, iron and ironing board. Bedroom with two single beds, bedside cabinets, reading lamps and spacious built-in wardrobes with floor safe.
Terrace area complete with table and four chairs overlooking well maintained gardens and gets the sun from early morning through to around mid afternoon.
Two sets of towels are provided with both towels and linen changed at the end of the week, please bring your own beach towels.
The complex has three pools, one of which is heated and a childrens splash pool. There are also two pool bars that serve snacks and drinks and also provide some entertainment with pool tables and table football.
There are plenty of sun loungers so there is no need to get up early to reserve one!!
Airport pick up and drop off can be arranged at lastminute travel (please request contact information should you wish to book it).

About Costa Teguise, Lanzarote
Costa Teguise is one of the main tourist resorts on the island, with big luxury hotels and apartments where architecture and landscape have been harmoniously integrated. As well as the main beach of Las Cucharas there are many other waterfront areas to choose from.
If sport is your thing then Costa Teguise is well worth a visit. With several diving centres, a golf course and bicycle hire shops all at arms length you can't go far wrong. For families, Ocean Water Park is based just 2km inland from Costa Teguise which boasts water slides, flumes and heated swimming pools. Open daily from 10am – 6pm.
There are many restaurants in Costa Teguise where the locals welcome those with children, don't be surprised if they are given sweets at the end of a meal!
Owner's Tips
You will find several supermarkets nearby with one of them baking fresh bread each morning.
There are Spanish, Italian, Chinese, French and English restaurants and bars all within 5 minutes walk from the apartment.
The main resort centre is only 10 minutes walk away and there you will find many more restaurants and bars - some with free entertainment, and lots of shops for your bargains & souvenirs.
The Playa Bastian beach is a short stroll through the apartments and accross the promenade. The larger Las Cucharas beach is only a further 10 minutes along the promenade.
For those of you that don't like sea & sand there is the Aqua Park which is only 15 minutes walk inland from the apartment. There is also a 18 hole golf course that is less than 5 mins by car.
Across the road from the apartments there is a bus stop should you wish you wish to visit the capital Arrecife or carry on to the larger resort of Puerto del Carmen.
Should you wish to hire a car then there are several agencies nearby and the car can be parked outside the apartment.

“We have just returned from a month (January 2012) in Costa Teguise, Lanzarote. For the first week we stayed in this one bedroom property at Playa Bastian, which we found very clean and comfortable.The property had everything we needed for a pleasant stay, and we greatly enjoyed it. The complex is well maintained and has the benefit of three pools (two smaller ones are heated), and two pool bars. It has direct access to the lovely promenade, and the beach. Across the road is a supermarket, lovely bakery, and bus stop for trips out. We did look at other places while we were there, but liked Playa Bastian so much that we decided to return there next year, but will choose a property further from the road to avoid traffic noise, which we did find somewhat disturbing at night.
Costa Teguise is a great resort, there are several beaches, lots of local walks (easy strolls and longer hikes) and plenty of wonderful restaurants and bars. The weather was sometimes mixed, but mainly sun! Perfect for a winter escape.”
Owner's response: As you live on a quiet country lane I agree that road noise will be more than you are used to but in 8 years no one else has commented on road noise before. We stay in the apartment ourselves but do not find it noisy and in the UK we live in a cul de sac.

“Excellent apartment, spacious, comfortable, good beds, nothing missing whatsoever. Well decorated and clean, with all the comforts of home. There is nothing really to improve on - it has everything! The location is great, with a supermarket and bakery just over the road, plenty of restaurants and bars within a 5 minute walk and the seafront promenade 2 minutes away.
We would definitely stay there again - as long as it wasn't already booked.

“The apartment is spacious, very well appointed and spotlessly clean. It is in an excellent location
with various restaurants and super-markets within a stone's throw and just a couple of minutes walk to the beach or a further ten minute walk to 'down town' Costa Teguise with many more restaurants and bars etc.
The complex was well maintained and with three pools (plus a childrens' pool) there was always a
place for a quiet swim or a lazy day on a sun lounger.
I would definitely re-book this apartment . I cannot recommend it highly enough.”
