Lago Verde Suite 22, a luxury 2 bedroom apartment situated in the Old Town of Puerto Del Carmen.
Overlooking the harbour, this high quality spacious apartment sits in the much sought after quiet complex of Lago Verde.
Each of the two bedrooms provides two single beds, large wardrobe and dressing table, while the master bedroom has French doors to an exceptionally large balcony which boasts panoramic views of the sea, mountains and the distant Island of Fuerteventura.
The recently renewed kitchen is fully fitted and has fridge with freezer section, oven, four electric rings, microwave, toaster, kettle, iron & ironing board etc. It is separated from the lounge by a marble two level breakfast bar and four stools.
The spacious lounge has a picture window looking out to sea and patio doors leading to the balcony. It features a recently renewed 3 piece suite (2009), TV, DVD player, radio/CD player with a large selection of DVD/CD's, coffee table and a collection of books which guests are welcome to read or swap. A folding bed or cot can be hired for this room to accommodate a fifth person if required. The very secluded balcony has a dining table, four chairs, 2 sun beds, 2 sun umbrellas and clothes dryer
The completely modernised bathroom has twin sinks (each with a large mirror), shower, toilet, hairdryer, shaver point and ample shelves for toiletries.
The complex has a reception (not 24 hours) where English is spoken , internet access, wi-fi in reception, telephone, swimming pool (heated in winter only), bar and snack restaurant. There is a large sunbathing area with ample sun beds around the pool together with a shaded area if required.
In addition to the reception staff, our Lanzarote letting agents who are English, are also available to give any assistance required during the holiday. The key for the bedroom safe can also be obtained from the letting agent on payment of a refundable deposit.
Towels are changed twice per week and bed linen once per week. There is a coin operated laundry on the complex and safety deposit boxes can also be hired in reception.

About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.
For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.
A new 18 hole golf course and driving range has just opened within 5 minutes drive from the apartment
I am a retired chartered accountant and live with my wife in Scotland. We have two children and six grandchildren who all love having holidays at Lago Verde.
Prior to retiring in 1993 we had spent many holidays in Lanzarote and loved the island especially its many beaches and restaurants. After retiring we went for a week to Lanzarote with a view to buying a holiday apartment. The estate agent showed us 11 apartments but when we saw the huge secluded balcony and the wonderful views from 22 Lago Verde, we just knew that this was the apartment we had to have. At that time it was 5 years old, and gradually over the last 12 years we have upgraded and modernised until everything was just how we wanted it.
My wife's favourite phrase when we are there is ' aren't we lucky to have found a place like this'

“Stayed here in July 2010.A fantastic apartment - very spacious and comfortable. had all the amenties i.e comfy beds, fantastic bathroom with good powerful shower , kitchen was well equipped and clean. The complex was very clean and pool was heated . the restuarants around were fab - we loved Emma's Mexican and Marios , both served very large portions so we shared a lot of the time as Mario's garlic bread came as an 16" garlic pizza so it served the 4 of us as a starter . Emma's fajitas were HUGE although we did ask for some more tortillas as we ran out of them before the fajitas !!! oh ..and the mojitos are to die for !! agree with everyone that the hill back up is a killer from the strip but if you eat at the named above or the lovely harbour restuarants you can walk off the dinner nicely before going to bed and not get to out of puff. The pool bar is run by Bernie and Michelle - a lovely Irish couple who can't do ENOUGH for you and no matter what time you want food he will cook it for you which was a huge bonus as the kids sometimes never left the pool till 6/7pm . no need to get up early for beds either as nobody was greedy with them so you came home relaxed - nothing worse than setting an alarm clock ....so overall we had a FAB TIME - would love to go back . Thanks Again Douglas you have a really wonderful holiday home .”

“This appartment is absolutely fantastic very clean and spacious, views from large terrace beautiful, plenty of CDs books and DVDs and even more DVDs can be borrowed from Bernie who owns the pool bar his welcome was second to none his brekkie takes some beating and is one of the few you can still get after midday! The pool is spotless as is the rest of the complex and being just a few minutes stroll down to the town where there is a lot going on makes the location just great mind you I would advise a cab back as the hill back is a killer! One word of caution though the steps even though staggered in groups of about 8 are a pain when leaving with suitcases although taxi drivers are helpful all in all appartment 22 is the best I've stayed in during my stay on the islands it's got all you need except a hairdryer lol but 10 mins on the terrace and hey you don't need one. Although my hubby and I in 40 s this is still a good location for families too A GREAT BIG THANKYOU DOUGLAS had a lovely time.”

“This is the third visit by familiy members to Suite 22 and all have praised, cleanliness & facilities within the apartment and comfort.
Situated in an ideal location above the harbour (5 minute walk), it is an excellent base for touring the island but also has good local walks.
The pool side area was maintained to a very good standard and reasonably child friendly (except for the smaller ones).
Overall - excellent”
