About Poblado Marinero - Marina

These apartments have unrivalled and spectacular harbour and sea views and are in the tranquil complex of Poblado Marinero, adjacent to marina which is focal point of the village.

They are also our holiday home so we have naturally made sure they have everything you need and are comfortable.

The typically Canarian Courtyard style complex is a fantastic and very popular destination.

Easily accessed, no need for lots of steps.

Shops, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets are in abundance and there are several reasonably priced supermarkets.

There is no swimming pool within the complex but there is a seawater lido "El Laguillo" right next door and The Oasis Club a short stroll away, both of these have daily or weekly membership and we have a negotiated discount. In addition the beach is a stones throw away. The Oasis with its grassy lawns and popular restaurant and snack bar make it a hit with families.

The apartment is 2 bedroomed (1 double/1 twin) with full wardrobe space, with a bathroom with shower over, wc and washbasin and an additional washroom with wc and basin. There are also fans in most rooms. Clean linen is provided weekly, as are towels. You must provide your own beach towels though or these can be hired from our manageress.

The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer and a full selection of cutlery, crockery and equipment. There is also an iron and board and a safe. There is a washing machine in the utility area and clothes airers.

The living room has a dining table and chairs, coffee table, and tv which has british channels (BBC, ITV and Sky) and video player & dvd player. There is also a radio and cd player. There are two settees one of which converts to a double bed - which realistically sleeps 1 adult or 2 children. There are even some binoculars for all those budding sea captains!

The balconies benefit from sunshine in the afternoon and evening ideal to watch the world go by with a large G & T! There are sunloungers, chairs and table for alfresco dining.

There are outstanding and unrivalled frontline views of marina, cliffs and La Gomera.

Tea, Coffee, Milk and water are complimentary upon arrival and Welcome grocery packs are available, Special Occasion packs with champagne, cake, flowers or cards can also be arranged. Mid week clean and linen change available. (Local Charge) Private basement garage space available. Cots and high chairs can also be rented.

We also have negotiated a discounted rate on local car hire for exploring the island and can recommend a reliable competitive airport transfer, that is much cheaper then airport taxis and will meet your flight whatever the hour. There is nothing nicer then someone waiting with a board with your name on it after a long flight!

Holiday rental prices

Prices are for apartment and up to 4 guests, sorry no discount for low occupancy.
Prices are shown per week, extra nights available please email for prices.

A £75 security bond is also payable - this is refunded after your stay by cheque when the apartment has been checked.

Cots and high chairs, welcome packs, Mid week cleans and linen change, special occasion items all available as extras.

The availability calender shows red when both apartments are booked, when yellow, this means that the marina view is booked but the sea view apartment may be available - to check individual apartment availability please go to the "How to Book" page on my own website. BUT please check with me prior to booking flights.

About Los Gigantes, Tenerife

The sheer cliffs of “The Giants” attract scores of visitors every year and the views are some of the most spectacular on the island. This area remains one of the few calmer holiday destinations, which is quite rare on Tenerife. However the town of Puerto de Santiago, which lies South of Los Gigantes is more developed and relies heavily upon tourism.

Owner's Tips

We have an ever added to visitors book with helpful comments and hints and a selection of maps and brochures for local attractions and eating places. Los Gigantes boasts the best climate on Tenerife. Car Hire is not essential, there are a reliable & reasonable taxi and local bus service. We are able to source neighbouring apartments for larger parties or if we are full. If you have any queries whatsoever please dont hesitate to call and we will assist wherever possible - our aim is for your enjoyment!

What we love about our property
We bought this property 3 years ago for its location and day long sunshine, we both love "Los Gig", and have holidayed here many times. We are constantly renewing things within the apartment to make it more luxurious and home from home all the time! Its our little home in the sun and we love it!
