Exquisite casita set in enchanting gardens, close to the old town.

Words cannot really do justice to this gem of a house, tucked away in enchanting gardens with palms, fruit trees, flowering shrubs and trailing plants, and surrounded by tall hedges for total privacy and seclusion.

The house itself, formerly a small Spanish casita, has been lovingly restored and enlarged by the owners with taste and creativity. They have cleverly managed to create a warm, homely atmosphere, yet it is the last word in good taste and elegance - from the hand-made clay floor tiles, the double-glazed wood doors and windows, to the stylish furnishings and décor. In the garden room by the pool a touch of the Kasbah has been created, with Moroccan style furnishings and décor, and a ceiling fan. The house has central heating for the cooler months.

15/20 minutes walk, or just a few minutes’ drive, takes one to the historic old town, and the Port is just 10 minutes’ drive away. The Arenal, with its safe sandy beach, is about 15 minutes by car. Both the Port and the Arenal offer lots of bars, restaurants and shops and a lively atmosphere. Two golf courses are very close by, and others are within a 20-minute radius.

For laptop users, a broadband connection is included in the rental cost.

Situated roughly 50km from Benidorm is the wonderful town of Javea, reckoned to be one of the sunniest places along the coast. Javea has a busy harbour and a lively fish market set in quaint narrow streets in the old style.

There are lots of properties in Javea available for holiday rentals, including luxury villas and apartments. Javea villa rentals are popular throughout the year.

The town is steeped in history and the museums trace artefacts back to Roman times. The buildings around the Plaza de la Iglesia are not to be missed!

The Javea area has no high-rise developments, and the medieval town, with its beautiful Arenal beach and pretty old port area, is an untypical, up-market Spanish tourist resort, famed for its friendly welcome and its near perfect climate, with usually 300 full days of sunshine a year.
