About Columbus Apartments
Located in Puerto del Carmen. These are good quality apartments in a fantastic location front line to the sea.
1 bedroom sleep upto 4 & 2 bedrooms sleep upto 6 shared pool.
These apartments are very spacious and bright. The living rooms have patio doors to either a terrace or balcony. They have either one or two bedrooms which have twin beds, fitted wardrobes. Bathroom with shower over bath. The kitchens are very well equipped for a self catering holiday. We supply small starter pack with water, milk, tea, coffee and sugar free of charge on your arrival.
This small complex is across the road from the lovely golden beach. It has a fabulous, large terrace which overlooks the sea and has views to the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura and the mountains. There is a shared complex pool and plentiful sunloungers. There are locked gates to the complex for extra security and a suitcase room and washroom are available for departing guests with later flights.
These apartments are located in central Puerto del Carmen, a stones throw from all the varied activites and ameneties of the resort. We have two bars onsite, Spenders is a great meeting place owned and run by 'Geordie John' offering a variety of sporting channels, open from 5 in the afternoon until late and The Drop Inn, an Irish bar, open early for breakfast serving right through the day until dinner and most evenings live entertainment.
We do not offer a daily maid service during your stay but we do offer towel and linen change.
It is not essential to hire a car to enjoy the amenities of Puerto del Carmen however car hire would be recommended to explore the beautiful island of Lanzarote and its many attractions.

About Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote
About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.
For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.

“Hi,
Myself and my partner have just returned from a week's holiday in which we stayed in the Columbus Apartments. we cannot fault it one bit, we stayed in 7B which has been refurbished and it is just fab. The location is excellent, so close to beach/shops/bars etc!! The weather was great which was an added bonus. I have read the reviews about the noise etc and although it was quite noisy it wasnt a problem and didnt ruin our holiday. The pool area is lovely and a complete sun trap no matter where you sit!! Lynn was lovely from day one and very helpful!! We cannot wait to come back next year for another great holiday!!!”

“Just back from an 11 night stay in what was the noisiest apt we've ever stayed in 8A. Couldn't sleep for noise. The bedroom is directly above Spenders Bar and we didn't have to visit the bar as everything was more than audible in our room. It sometimes went on til 1.00pm. That wasn't the only noise. There must be a cleaner for the bar who arrives early morning, lifts the shutters (awoke again) then drags furniture around. A metal grid outside the apt's also keeps rattling. The apt itself was fine, the pool area exactly what we wanted. I did however expect that staying 11 nights would warrant at least a towel change. I wouldn't use towels or bedding at home for that long but we didn't receive any. We were however allowed to stay in an apt after the 10.00am checkout time which was good. If it wasn't for the noise we would certainly return but it really did spoil our holiday. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to let a bar be opened there but unless you are the type that stays out after 1pm in the morning maybe these apts aren't for you.”
