About the property

The villa is located on a larger then average south facing plot with a young, landscaped garden. The pool is large and heated in the winter with electric heater and in the summer with solar pool cover and it is cleaned twice a week. There is also a table football by the pool. The pool area is paved and there are 6 cushioned sun loungers for your use and poolside basketball. There is an outside dining area with seating for 6 by the pool and a large roof-top solarium which is walled up and very private.

Inside there are 3 bedrooms, one with double bed and en-suite bathroom and 2 further bedrooms with 2 single beds in each which can be turned into a large double bed upon request. There is an additional bathroom. All rooms are tiled, bathrooms are fully tiled with bath and shower.

The kitchen is a good size, fully fitted with all appliances, cutlery, crockery, kettle and toaster, microwave and washing machine.

In the lounge there is table seating six, Sky satellite TV, Xbox games console plus additional TV in one of the single bed bedrooms, stereo with CD and cassette player.

There are smoke alarms throughout the property. Please note that this is a non smoking property.

All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£) and are based on 4 people sharing.

We do ask for a £150 breakage deposit to be paid with your balance payment, which will be refunded upon satisfactory inventory on departure.
Electric pool heater is turned on between November and March. Additional charges apply of £10 per day.

About Costa Caleta, Fuerteventura

Costa Caleta (formerly known as Caleta de Fuste) thrives on tourism, with lots of accommodation to offer, a fantastic golden sandy beach popular for water sports enthusiasts. The tourist centre of El Castillo (the castle) stands next to the harbour and is well worth a visit.

The town of Caleta is often referred to as a holiday village. The man made beach has been carefully constructed to avoid currents and is in the shape of a horse shoe. This ensures it is perfectly safe for children of all ages. Those wanting to be a little more adventurous can go diving, hire jet skis or learn to windsurf at the water centre on the beach. Costa Caleta harbour is home to many yachts, catamarans and boats which provide local trips as well as providing a beautiful backdrop in the evenings.

There is a multitude of good restaurants in Costa Caleta that can cater for all tastes at very reasonable prices. Steaks and Fish are particularly good, however there are also Chinese, Indian, Greek and English restaurants all within a close area. There are also a number of good supermarkets within the area.

Situated on the east coast of the island, roughly 10km south of the airport and approximately 20 minutes south of Puerto del Rosario. There is a local bus service, which runs every 30 minutes and provides air conditioned coaches for the trip. At 1 Euro (65p) it is an extremely cheap and easy way to get around. Budget car rental in Costa Caleta is available for those wishing to explore the island at their leisure.

Owner's Tips...

Car hire is recommended, although not essential.

There is a luxury hotel, Elba Palace Hotel and Golf Club on the golf course. There you will find 5* restaurants, wine cellar and all our guests can you the facilities of the hotel. There is a courtesy shuttle bus from the golf course to the shopping center with it's superb supermarket, selection of shops, hairdresser, restaurants and amusement arcade and cinema complex. There is even McDonald's and Burger King there if you are really feeling home sick!

A watersports centre is 5 minutes drive away in the marina for hiring jetskis, etc. The golf course is the only one on the island at present and it was a home to 2004 Spanish open. The golf club is in a quiet location however all amenities and restaurants are only short drive away.

The capital city with it's shopping is only 20 minutes away. Coralejo Dunes are approx. 40 minutes drive away and Jandia beach will take the same time to get to in the opposite direction. Both locations have kite surfing and surfing schools.
