Casa Rojo is furnished to a very high standard, and a most delightful two bedroomed Morrocan style villa set on a mature residential complex at the bottom of the mountain Montaña Roja. Casa Rojo has that feeling of homeliness, and has everything you will need for a fantastic self-catering holiday.
This lived in feeling runs throughout the villa! The lounge with leather suite, satellite TV, video, DVD/MP3 player, with an extensive range of films and music for all the family. The XBOX with two controllers and family games completes the range of home entertainment. A well equipped modern kitchen with a fridge freezer, microwave, oven, halogen hob and workspace. Plastic crockery and cutlery is provided for children and outdoor use. The large master bedroom has quality linen and double bed, bedroom two has two single beds, all beds are fitted with mosquito nets, when and if required. For babies a travel cot, linen and high chair is also provided. The large bathroom is fully tiled with all the modern luxury fittings!
Outside on the extensive patio area table and four chairs for outdoor dining, stairs that lead to a large roof terrace with four luxury sun-beds. The views from this terrace are fabulous, mountains to the left and the rest is the sea! This is the best place to be to enjoy Lanzarote's amazing sunsets.
Shangrila Park is made up of quaint pathways, completely pedestrianised, with colourful gardens, communal swimming pool and a childrens play area. There is also a communal tennis court (rackets provided). The tennis court is just behind the villa, very convenient!
A BBQ of the charcoal variety, for those who like to cook outdoors the conventional way! There is also a utilty room with washing machine and outdoor drying racks.
An extensive welcome pack is included in the price, some of the items included - water, juice, tea, coffee, milk, wine, eggs and bread.
A condition of booking our villa is that all members of your party take out adequate fully comprehensive insurance cover against cancellation, medical expenses arising abroad, loss of luggage or money, injury/accident and personal liability claims. Please note that all monies paid are non refundable.
Before making the final payment please confirm flight numbers and arrival and departure times at Arrecife airport and confirmation that you have or will be taking out adequate insurance cover for the eventualities listed above.

Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.
The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.
A walk to the top of Montana Roja (directly next to the villa) will reveal magnificent views, it's well worth the walk!
Playa Blanca is favoured to be in the best part of the island and attracts mainly families and couples who want a quiet and relaxed holiday in the sun!
The nearest sandy beach - Playa Flamingo is a 5 minute drive away. This beach is almost lagoon like and is very suitable and safe for children.

“Stayed here in November 2005 and it was excellent. Very well equipped and extremley comfortable with all fixtures and fittings being good quality. Fantastic roof terrace which we enjoyed all day long right down to drinks watching the sun set! Lovely complex and so quiet. Would definatley stay here again. A car is needed in my opinion but having been to Lanzarote many times we knew our way round. Fantastic holiday in a great villa.”

“We stayed at Shangrila Park over the Christmas period and enjoyed our stay very much. The house was big enough for 2 people and the roof terrace was an excellent feature to enable you to sunbathe in privacy. We did have one day where there was an issue with the water supply but just put this down to the fact that Lanzarote is a very dry island and therefore water is quite scarce.
Overall we had an enjoyable stay and the villa was very good value for money.”
Owner's response: Emergency work was being carried out on the water mains. Our Management team called at the villa several times to inform the guests but were unable to speak with them in person.

“Casa Rojo is a very good place to stay in Playa Blanca.This was our first time in Lanzarote and to choose self-catering accommodation but we were very happy with our choice.The place looks the same as shown in the pictures,simply perfect!!!We hired a car for the whole stay and visited many interesting places around but walking was also nice, especially Playa Blanca's promenade...
Casa Rojo villa is located in a peaceful and quiet complex,very well maintained and offers fantastic sunset views which we enjoyed a lot.It is equipped with absolutely everything you can think about,a real home.The communication with the owners was first class,all our questions about finding the place,what to do,where to go were answered before we go and we can now say it was very helpful.
Definitely a place we can recommend to families with children ,couples looking for romantic holiday or a group of friends.”
