About the property

Villa Gaviota is a 2 bed 2 bath detached high quality villa with its own electrically heated private pool. The villa is on a quiet residential complex of other villas which also enjoy the use of a huge cool communal pool.

Inside there is twin leather settees, heavy wood furnishings, marble floors, high ceilings, TV with English channels, a DVD player with up to date films, CD player. There is also a full information pack on the villa and surrounding area.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob and a welcome pack including tea, coffee, milk, juice, biscuits and wine awaits you.

The large double bedroom with fitted wardrobes and dressing table has an en-suite marble bathroom with shower over bath. There is a door to the patio area off the master suite. The twin bedroom enjoys a view to the private pool and has the use of the family walk in shower-room.

Outside there is an outdoor seating area, which is lit and covered for evening dining. The garden is fully walled with sun loungers and BBQ. From the garden you can see the sea, lighthouse and neighbouring islands.

There is a utility room with washing machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board. There is off road parking.

La Goleta is away from the main resort of Playa Blanca and is in a very quiet location, although within a 15 min walk away you can find an Indian Restaurant, Spanish Café, French café/bar, English pub with major sporting events and pool table, a convenience store with all your essentials and UK papers plus a Chinese restaurant.

We recommend car hire (which can be booked via us) as the nearest beach is a 5 min drive away, as is the village of Playa Blanca. However, there are some lovely mountain and coastal walks to do. You can reach the rocky sea front within a 15 min walk from Villa Gaviota.

About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote

Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.

The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.

Owner's Tips...

We loved taking our young son into the heated pool, we brought him some floats and he enjoyed splashing around untill dark whilst we relaxed on the patio with a glass of wine!
