About the property

Casa Roja is a detached villa which provides high quality holiday accomodation sitting on pretty walled garden, it is close to the sea and has its own private pool which has a solar blanket to raise the pool temp to up to 6 degrees when the sun is shining!

There is a large double bedroom with window to private pool area and double wardrobes. Guests staying in the double bedroom have the use of the family shower-romm with walk-in shower.

The twin bedroom has on-suite bathroom, double wardrobes and a window to the pool area. There is a double headboard and these twin beds can easily be pushed together to make a second double bedroom if you are bringing two couples.

The large lounge has a high ceiling and UK TV, DVD with films provided. There are french doors to the large patio and pretty garden. Hot nights not a problem at Casa Roja because we have window shutters and fans.

The large kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, oven, hob, fridge freezer, iron and ironing board.

There is an outdoor dining area with large table and typical Canarian seating. This area is covered and lit so you can enjoy eating outside at any time of the day or night. A door leads to the utility area with washing machine.

A welcome pack is provided with tea/coffee/sugar/milk/orange juice/water and biscuits and of course a nice bottle of wine.

Faro Park is away from the main resort of Playa Blanca and is in a very quiet location, although within a 2 min walk away you can find an Indian Restaurant, Spanish Café, French café/bar, English pub with major sporting events and pool table, a convenience store with all your essentials and UK papers plus a Chinese restaurant.

We recommend car hire (which can be booked via us) as the nearest beach is a 5 min drive away, as is the village of Playa Blanca. However, there are some lovely mountain and coastal walks to do. You can reach the rocky sea front within a 5 min walk from Casa Roja.

About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote

Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.

The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.

We like to spend our days relaxing on the sun loungers, topping up our tans before cooling off in the pool!
