About Barranquillo
Large well equipped first floor apartment in a convenient level location only 10 minutes from airport, & 1 mile from "old town" on a quiet complex of two story holiday homes. Close to all amenities, supermarket 100yds, every kind of dining option on seafront, 400yds.
This complex does not accommodate package holiday operators, ensuring a normally tranquil holiday.
Nicely furnished with new luxury bathroom, TV, tape/CD player, 25 foot sun balcony with table, chairs and umbrella. New kitchen with 4 ring hotplate, microwave/grill fridge/freezer & all utensils, plus crockery & wine glasses. Various board games & reading material are present. The TV.is a Sky system, but only the free to view channels are available. Recent improvement include a DVD player with over 50 film titles available.
You have a choice of many bars & restaurants within minutes of level strolling plus a choice of main or secluded beaches, again only minutes away. Supermarket 100 metres.
Outlook onto well tended tropical gardens housing a shared pool with addition kiddies pool. Ideal holiday home for one or two couples, or small family.
Temporary reservation available for flight checking. Transfers available. Changeover days flexible. A welcome pack is supplied for every client comprising of milk to your choice, teabags (English), coffee, sugar plus a 5 litre bottle of drinking water for you and should you arrive late I will offer to get you bread etc, I also supply dish cloths (new for every client )and washing liquid of course. I advise everyone to bring their own tea bags though because they are very expensive here and not always English.

Clients with late departures , wishing to guarantee late check out are advised to book an EXTRA following night.

About Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote
About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.
For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.
Owner's Tips
For clients looking for musical entertainment, Hotels Fariones/San Antonio & most timeshare complexes welcome non residents for dancing & shows.
Sea front walks upto 8 miles are now possible due to walkways to Arrecife via Playa Honda. Cliff top walks to Puerto Calero via old town, approx 4 mile with option to return on boat/bus.

“we have just arrived home from lanzarote this app is great the balcony gets the sun from early morning till evening lynda is brilliant as she allways is she can not do enough to help plenty of bed linen and towels she even gives us beach towels we liked this app so much have booked for 4wks next year thanks lynda for all your special touches”

“We stayed at Gerry's apartment in El Baranquillo 14-21 Sept 2011. We must say the apartment is excellent, very clean and comfortable and extremely well equipped. Lynda (the manager) picked us up at the airport and showed us to the apartment. She provided us with milk and large water for our arrival, along with loads of other goodies. What a lovely touch! Nothing was too much trouble for her and we would recommend people take her up on her offer to do your airport transfers.The complex is very quiet and it was a real pleasure to stay there. The location is very central for the bars and shops - especially La Ola cafe and restaurant which we used several times. We were delighted to learn the place had been re-opened after having been closed for a couple of years. It really is like sitting in paradise when you are there! It is only less than 5 mins walk away from the apartment too. An extremely pleasant stay in Baranquillo and would highly recommend it to people. Thank you Gerry and Barbara and (not forgetting) the wonderful Lynda!”

“Enjoyed our stay. Apartment well equipped and nice big living room/kitchen area. The large balcony was great very pleasant to sit and relax ,overlooking lovely laid out garden.A very central area but also quite quiet. Plenty good restaurants nearby and reasonably priced.”
